No love for Athens?

Ryan Adams (1990) (Current AHS Head Coach)
Kaheem Maxwell (1995)?
Shawn Hewitt (2000)(Athens)
Chris Hewitt (2004)(Athens)
...just to name a few

Agreed, Roush from Meigs was a BEAST!

You're right about those guys, I should have included them on my list. I saw Maxwell and both Hewitt's myself. I know Maxwell went on to OU and I think he was the SEOAL MVP in 1995. Excellent speed player.

Shawn Hewitt was the bright spot on some bad Athens teams, and Chris was a big part (along with Grant Gregory) in Athens resurgence in 2002-2004.

How can you forget Aaron Hall from West class of 1996 hit the 1,000 rushing yards his junior year. And Justin Staggs from West class of 1997 would have it the 1,000 rushing yards if the offense of line would have not graduation the year before.

hey buckeyeguy, grizzlynatural is talking about LOGAN not Trimble. Read his post again "10 miles up the road" (up means North, Logan is North of Nelsonville) "Brand new school" If it was 1989 he would be talking about Trimble. "All new facilities" If it was 1940 he would be talking about Trimble.

Besides, Trimble holds the series advantage over Wellston 7 games to 3, they outscored Athens in a scrimmage earlier this year, and the tied Meigs in the second scrimmage this year. So I wouldn't exactly say that our record would drop terribly.

Stay over in Nelsonville and go to the board meeting on Monday and convince the school board to keep Boston Jr. The Trimble fans are pulling for you because we know we have done much better against N-Y in the last six years than we have in the previous 23.

Also I, and I imagine many Buckeyes, hope that you are fan that moved to Nelsonville later in your life and not someone that shows off what you learned in the N-Y school system, your spelling and grammar are atrocious.
