i have to admit, im looking through any glasses that aren't purple & gold at least while bryant is a member of the team and phil jackson is the coach. :122246 :122246 :122246

rockets steal home court last night from the lakers as well as orlando from the celtics.

I expect the Lakers to rally and win that series, but I'm not so sure about the Celtics.
I don't think Kendrick Perkins can do enough to offset Dwight Howard. Perkins had a great game on the boards, but 6 points isn't going to cut.
We'll see.
I think this one will go seven.

i agree, i think the lakers will find a way to win the series with the rockets. howard is just a beast on the inside. if jameer nelson was healthy it would be a no brainer. this series would have been better if garnett and nelson were both playing.

after lakers and celtics losing both at home idk the only team to me that is a safe pick is cleveland
but if ray allen didnt shoot 9% and rondo shoot like he did it woulda been a different game

and i want the celtics to win it but i dont see it happening i see the nuggets vs cavs and that would be a good series

Hey, did Kobe drop a bomb on the Rockets last night or what?
After last night's love-fest in L.A., I think Lakers-Rockets is going to be a heck of a series. Looking forward to it!
Celtics did a great job getting back on track.
Rondo was brilliant. And Eddie House ... WHAT!?!?!

i am anxious to see if they treat kobe the same way as they treated dwight howard in regards to the elbow throw. howard got a one game suspension. we'll see what the nba's golden child gets.

the difference between kobe and lebron on the court as far as being a punk was evident last night. lebron just drops 30 on ya and smiles at ya and has a good time. bryant does what hes suppose to do (score), and has to trash talk after every basket. down deep i was kind of hoping artest would of just jacked him after the elbow to the throat.

this series is already chippy and were only on game 3.

i knew it! nba's golden child gets slap on the wrist for elbow to throat. derek fisher received a one game suspension for the same identical thing in the same game but since it was kobe the nba looked the other way. not only did the refs look the other way during the game, the nba looks the other after the game.

this could have turned the tide of the game had the refs made the proper call. it would have been at least a flagrant and the ball and artest would have still been in the game and the lakers wouldnt have gotten the technical free throws. this was a potential (2 foul shots, 3 on the following possession, lakers made both free throws theres 2, and a potential 3 with that possession) 10 point no call. not to mention the leading scorer for the rockets gets tossed. the nba needs the lakers in the finals and this is more proof of that. sorry to rant. ok, out of breathe.

I hear you loud and clear qualified.
I watched Around the Horn today and those "sportswriters" made me wanna puke. Nothing but a bunch of apologists for the NBA. Kobe should be out for the next game, no question.
Moving on ...
I declare the Cavs-Hawks series officially over.

wp, did you see rafer alston bitch slap eddie house the other night. that was funny. eddie deserved it for all the smack he talks but alston crippled his team by not keeping his emotions in check. alston is suspended for their next game.

Yeah, Eddie got the little brother treatment from Alston.
It was hilarious, but you're right, the Magic could be down a game with Alston on the bench for Game 3.
That said, Orlando is very tough in the Magic Kingdom!
Should be fun!

Im going to go out on a limb here and say Cavs Vs. Denver.

The Cavs because there just dominate and have the best player in the world in LeBron.

Denver because they are the second best team as of right now. Billups has them playing very good basketball and will beat the Lakers in 6 games.

But in the finals. Cavs in 5 LeBron taking the finals MVP to add another trophy to his case.

I would say the Cavs are in but I am not ready to declare a western conference team just yet.

I don't think they will win it but don't count out my Celtics just yet. They just find a way to win when they have to. Heart of a champion!
