i was a nitro guy then started flipping channels back and forth in the stone cold era. i remember when he drove that beer truck right into the side of the ring and popped open a coldy. that was cool.

WWE Sets Release Date For "Rise and Fall of WCW" DVD
May 7, 2009 by Reggie Brooks

The highly anticipated DVD "The Rise and Fall of WCW" is set for an August 25 release.

The project will be a three disc set.

WWE recently contacted Ted Turner and TBS executive Bill Shaw about participating in the project. Both men declined, as did former WCW President and WWE talent Eric Bischoff.

I went to the Florence SC show this past Friday, and they did not disappoint. The best part though, was how into it the southern fans are. It was a blast. The after show meet and greet was pretty cool too.

Nice pics Tigercannon.

I took some pics in Huntington a couple of summers ago when Raw was putting on house show, but they did not turn out near as good. I left my digital camera in my hotel room in Winfield and to to lower myself to buying a disposable camera down the street from the arena.

Well, Victoria made her debut on TNA last night. Glad to see her back in the ring, but man, I wish she was in WWE. At least TNA appears to be handing her the number one babyface roll - at least for now. They won't be able to call her Victoria though because WWE owns that name. Internet sites are saying she debuted at a house show last night under the name Tara.

It's almost like Victoria and Gail Kim have traded places. Victoria is now the number one babyface in TNA and Gail Kim is now jobbing to Michelle McCool in WWE.

Would you rather be the star and not make much money or be a jobber and make top dollar? I guess we know where both Victoria and Gail stand on this one!

Man, I hope WWE doesn't make Gail job! She had such a strong push her first several weeks. I'm guessing -- and hoping -- that what is going to happen is that McCool will win the Women's Championship from Melina sometime in the next two months and then after a McCool summer title reign, Gail Kim will pick up the title in the fall taking it into the new year.

It will be interesting to see if WWE keeps Victoria's profile up on the Alumni page. I hope they do - she did everything WWE ever asked of her. At least in TNA, she gets to be a star, even if it doesn't pay her what she made in WWE. I hope WWE brings her back one day - as a star, not a jobber.

I was more excited about Raven showing up. He looked good considering the shape he was in during his last stint in TNA.
