You got pounded last week. You win a game and want to run down another team. Look at your record you are not exactly a power house yourself.
According to OHSAA's site there are only 716 teams recognised as playing football this season.NYFan54 wrote:Alexander's strength of schedule is #716 in the state, which is from what I gather, very few away from the worst schedule in the state of Ohio. And yes, their playoff hopes are gone.

Kind of makes the quotes in the Friday Messenger article with Coach Arno even more memorable, doesn't it? I could spin his words a number of different ways, but I won't.A-Town Big Dog wrote:According to OHSAA's site there are only 716 teams recognised as playing football this season.NYFan54 wrote:Alexander's strength of schedule is #716 in the state, which is from what I gather, very few away from the worst schedule in the state of Ohio. Awesome! No 80 points this week? They won't win another TVC game this year,I hope Athens beats the guts out of them goes for 2 on every TD and fakes a punt when they are up 40-0indianabuck wrote:Final
Rockets 27

If you pull up the football section then click on the divisional breakdown tab it has the numbers. There are a couple of schools that play football in Ohio that aren't recognised by the OHSAA i.e. Columbus Crusaders so I think Pasteur's site actually ranks 718 schedules but it's still not good.NYFan54 wrote:I looked and looked....only thing I can say is...Wow!!A-Town Big Dog wrote:According to OHSAA's site there are only 716 teams recognised as playing football this season.NYFan54 wrote:Alexander's strength of schedule is #716 in the state, which is from what I gather, very few away from the worst schedule in the state of Ohio. Boy, I hate to quote myself, but my prediction of an 0-4 month for Alexander may be spot on.Steely Dan wrote:Kind of makes the quotes in the Friday Messenger article with Coach Arno even more memorable, doesn't it? Only thing that I will say, is, it seems that those who were questioning the validity of the Spartan's schedule, well, they may have had a very valid point.
It will be really hard to buy what Coach Arno said in last Friday's Messenger, if Alex goes 0-4 the last month of the regular season.
