I feel that this game is going to come down to one big play one way or the other. That play could be a turnover or a special teams play.

Valley and West will both be ready to play.

Just curios Bleeding Red.... What game did you watch Valley play?

South Point

I think Valley and West are very close in terms of skill players, I just think West has the better line and could be a very big difference maker in the 3rd and 4th quarter.

This has probably turned into one of the most stupid and ignorant threads i have ever seen. Its not going to be a blowout as some say. It will be a good game coming down to the last play or drive probably. Goodluck to both teams but i think West wins this one hope to see the winner of this game in Nelsonville come week 11.

You'll have a better chance of seeing the loser of this one in Week 11 in Nelsonville. The winner will more than likely be playing at home themselves in Week 11.

Did you even read my posts you no period using run on sentence maker? I said Valley is "VERY GOOD" this year and I think they will finish 9-1.

Just because I dont think they will win tomorrow night doesnt mean I think they are bad. Quite the opposite. I dont care what the score was, their line didnt impress me near as much as West's line. Valley uses most of the same linemen on both sides of the ball. West doesnt. That is a big difference in a tight 4th quarter ballgame.

Wow.....you can tell alot of people havent been around SEOPS for too long...

As far as "fans" go...both West and Minford fans feel like they are unbeatable, and there is nothing wrong with that.

Nothing that is said on here will effect the outcome of the game....a few players may think about a post or two, but as soon as they get hit in the mouth, thats all gone. Stop getting worked up about something someone posts to get everyone worked up.

As far as the line play Bleeding Red, I dont think it will be as big a deal as you say. We will all find out in about 27 hours.

You might want to check WNXT's internet schedule to see if this game will be broadcast online. Not the same as watching it but its something.
I'll do that. Sorry to hear Valley isn't broadcasting games. I really enjoyed watching them down here.

West has pretty much the entire line back this year. Some of these boys were sophomores last year and 1st time varsity players they have worked hard in the off season and I look for this be a big factor in what I hope is a SIDER victory. Very good group of young men!! Go boys this is your year.

There was alot of anticipation for last years game. Then Trevon's injury. I watched the game, but was kinda sick after that. I never watched the replay until yesterday. I was surprised at how well West moved the ball. Valley really never stopped West at all. Penalties killed us. From that game and then watching Valley this year, it looks like Valley lost alot of their physical players in Crabtree, Holcomb (sp?), and Shultz. Not to mention a couple linemen that I'm not sure they have replaced. West at times blew them off the ball last year, and our line wasn't near as good as it is this year. I'm just not sure Valley can compete at the line of scrimmage for 4 quarters.

Offensively Valley relies on their speed and big splits to create space. Last year though, their line was better and they had 2 big receivers with 2 good backs. Loosing Holcomb and Schultz caused them to take their best athlete and play him at tailback. He's a heck of a back, but only having the one dominant receiver (Dwyer) makes them alot easier to defend then having 2. Yates is still a great QB. West must find a way to contain him in the pocket.

I don't think Valley will have alot of success stopping West. West has struggled with Penalties the last few times we've played valley. If we stay ahead of the chains, we'll score several points. Defensively we must keep them from the big play and make them go the whole field and drive the ball. If we can do that we'll be in good shape.

I hope you are right. I would like to see Valley pull out the win. For one, there is a .001% chance Minford could later regain some playoff points...LOL.

Secondly, there are like 12 West posters that have been driving me nuts with their posts. Those people would fall off the face of the earth.

I give you, Jesco and Bo credit. Rain or shine, you guys are still here.

George,
I'm afraid you did indeed receive some bad info from some of my fellow Indians.... While I did play some athletics in school, I mostly was (and still am) nothing but a wanna be bench-warmer. It is true though that I never could hit in baseball, nor could I field for that matter. I couldn't hit in football though either, in fact all I ever did was get hit in what few JV games I played, hit in the eye, nose, mouth, head, body, everywhere..... in fact, truth be told, I think all I ever did was suck all around. I guess that's why I like talking crap on here, makes me feel like somebody. Oh, and Jesco, I have no clue what this thread has become... GO BLACKHAWKS!!!!!!!!

UPNYA4,

I hate surprises. Why don't you just go ahead and give us a hint or two? Haha

SittingBull,

I got hit in the eye once, a bunch of times. That crap hurts. I hope you can conjure up a little something extra from the spirit world for the youngsters tomorrow night!! Let's go Purple!!!
