Two changes made. Thanks for the info. I misread Irontonfootball.com. Just went to double check, and sure enough I was wrong.

Also changed Marietta's coach in 2002. Tim Hale was the coach in 2001, but the Tigers were led by Brian Spicer for their championship season in 2002.

Locos,

Did you ever find the All-SEOAL football team from 2003? I couldn't remember if you sent it to me and I misplaced it or if we just couldn't find it.

Thanks for posting this SEOAL information. Looking forward to the next three installments.

9 Titles for the "Middleport Yellow Jackets" in 20 years. That was a great feat considering the population (it's always been a village) and the bigger schools they played against. A few of the men that played on those teams (along with baseball & basketball) were my friends Dad's and/or Grandpa's. One of them in particular would tell a lot of stories about his h.s. experiences and I'd go in his store just to listen to these sometimes. Most of the one's I knew or talked with have passed on now but are remembered by the younger (Mid 50'ish and beyond now) Middleport faithful I'm sure.
