Not sure about that.....from what ive read Carwin is as good as a wrestler as brock and alot a better stand up fighter

Carwin hasnt beat anybody. They say he is as good a wrestler as Brock, but unlesshe has won an olympic gold medal or at least 3 NCAA championshis theres no comparison. They are just hyping Carwin. Only guy that has a chance against Brock that can match his intensity is Fedor.

Carmwin beat former #1 contender Gabriel Gonzaga by knockout in just over a minute.

The wrestling thing is Carwin was a 2time national champ in D2 but from what i read they say there is no difference between d1 and d2 in college wrestling and they beat alot of the same opponents (then why dont they all become d1 then)

Only reason Gonzaga was #1 was because he got lucky and knocked out Cro Cop. Gonzaga and Carwin are mid card heavyweights. They arent on the level of guys like Lesnar, Mir, and Couture.

UFC President Dana White confirmed that the winner of the Shane Carwin vs. Cain Velasquez fight will become the #1 Contender for Brock Lesnar's UFC Heavyweight Championship,[2] however, on August 20 it was reported the bout was off and that Carwin would fight Lesnar at UFC 106 instead[3] and Velasquez will fight against Ben Rothwell.[4]

Also Tito will be on that card to he facing mark coleman
