Hannan joining the TVC?

I think the Mason County school system was a package deal for the TVC....Not sure if Point is included since they couldnt compete in Ohio last time either.

Really? We were 5-2 each year our first three years in the SEOAL and had the league MVP in 1998. We were 26-28 in our years there, which is a much better winning percentage than current league teams like Warren (51-85, .375 WP), Marietta (51-89, .364 WP).

We weren't great but we held our own. Nice try though.

Just talked to coach Mercer but I was feeling like writing in AP format so here is this...

Portsmouth Daily Times Report
(SEOP Exclusive)

FRANKLIN FURNACE — Green High School football coach Dan Mercer put an end to rumors that the Bobcats football game with Hannan (W.Va.) Friday night would be cancelled or altered in format.
According to Mercer, the game is scheduled to be played at the original time and place and he added that he did not know where rumors that the game would be an 8-on-8 contest came from.
The Bobcats (1-1) and Wildcats (0-2) play tonight in Franklin Furnace.

Congratulations to Coach Mercer and the Cats on the win...

The thing that impressed me the most was Hannan's band at halftime... They had a total of 8 members.. 4 drummers, 2 clarinets, a saxophone, and 1 flag....... Takes a lot of determination and courage to perform with those few numbers... Congratulations.... Hope your dedication pays off and others will join.
