So explain this one to me. In the Cleveland game, tied 20 - 20 in OT, why did the Begnals (I won't just say Marvin Lewis) waste their last time out, and then let the clock run down to 7 seconds before kicking the field goal to win the game. Did they not understand it was sudden death and there was no reason to run out all the clock. With the history of bad snaps (2 in that very game) why would you not stop the clock and kick the FG with enough time to re-kick if you lost the handle on the snap and had to fall on it. If St Louis had made one of his over the head bad snaps, time would have run out and the game would have ended in a tie. That is bad time management, IMO.
Don't get me wrong, I love the Bengals, but those type of things drive me crazy.

If they miss the field goal then they leave Cleveland with no time and the game ends in a tie, If they make it game over!!!

I tihink getting it done in 13 seconds is really good. Has nothing to do with clock management. Clock management is done when your ahead period. And things dont always happen the way you want thm too. If we were not there. How can we judge ??????

uhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, well I watched it on the TV......... :122248

And you never play for a tie.

Still have to get your field goal unit on field to kick . Its not there fault time was running down . I sure they wanted more , But the football gods didnt let it happen. Blame them. If you were not there you dont know what really happened. But your an expert , i forgot

It doesn't take an expert to stop the clock at 45 seconds. I know these concepts are above your level of comprehension, but you spike the ball on first down, stop the clock, kick the FG and win. If it's a bad snap (high chance it will be with St Louis) , you fall on the ball and kick it again on 3rd down. Sorry I can't draw pictures for you to follow.

Marv is not a great coach. He is a decent coach, but his record doesn't allow him to be called a great coach. With all of the talent he has had over the years and the losing records he has produced to call him a GREAT coach is just ludicrous. And before you say anything, I have been a Bengal fan since the 70's and have watched them every year even though they have been the laughing stock of the NFL for most of the 90's and this decade.

I am more than happy that they are winning this year but my2cents has a few valid points.

You just told me you have been living in your basemaent for 4 years . What talent , There is no one there from the 2005 team but chad and palmer , He had to rebiuld the team from 4 years ago. What talent. There was none. The bengals are the youngest team in the nfl. If you dont have the players , you cant blame the coach. How many coaches can rebuild a team in 4 years. You just should me you only have 2 cents.
I cant see how someone would say that. WOW. Do you actually watch bengal football or just guessing.

And before you say anything I have been a bengal fan since 1970 and have been in there locker room .
And yes i have pictures if you want to meet me to see them. I do know this team. And the team doctor has roots from my town. So I do know what really happens. Most of the time.

I don't care if you've actually wiped Marvs butt for him, he is not a GREAT coach and he has had some talented players on this team.

He has some good players now, not a few years ago. A great coach. doesnt mean he is the best coach , or i did not put him on the mountain top. Or did i say he is the best coach. I did not say he was the best coach in the nfl. Nor did i say he was a hall of famer. Hes a great coach, not as good as some, better than others, rebuilt a team in 4 years has something to be said for. Some teams are rebuilding after 40 years and still not there. Hes doing well with the youngest team in the nfl. I really dont think this is our year, next year the kids will be better . I hope. He has done wonders for cinci, They is why he is a great coach. Look at the coaches before him up to sam wyche. Yea, hes a great coach.

Ace, at least pre-read your listings before posting them. Everyone makes a few spelling errors, but dude you are not helping yourself in winning a debate with your wording. I know a lot of Bengal fans are high on Sundays big win, but most of us have come down by now.
