I think the Grove will win big!! Lets hope they play well and they don't use that defense that they did last week on Rock Hill:( I think since they have moved Bender 22 to defensive end he has really been a wrecking machine. But then the coaches
take him out..the defense has been the weak point for the grove all year and if they
make it to the playoffs, lets hope they leave the good players where they are needed. Has anyone heard if Nelsonville York loses to Ironton about how far will they fall?

The Buckeyes' projected Harbin Average at 8-2 is 17.1; Coal Grove's projected Harbin average at 9-1 is 18.7.
If Coal Grove wins out, they'll be around after Halloween. . . 8)

That would be great for CG...I hope they make it to the playoffs and get past the first round. Has CG ever went past the first round? I can't think of a time that they played the second round... :122245 Good Luck to the Tigers!!! I think the tri-state is hoping for a win for team as well as Coach Lutz...!!!!!

The first time was either 84,85,or 86 and I know the second time was in 90.

Tonight all I boys have to do is get ahead early let the jv close it out and get ready for next week, because our playoffs start next week, from here on out we are playing win and play the next week, and thats as simple as it can be put out there. We have to take care of business tonight and start preparing for Fairland and the battle that will go on in the Grove next week.

8-0 end of the 1st Qtr

Yea Jerk

totally not impressed with Coal Grove Big & SLOW! Very undisciplined! Bet they had 8 personal foul penalties, one 2 unsportsmanlike conduct penalties. Kids talking back to the refs, some things never change. Late hits after the whistle had blown on a false start they hit RV QB back in the pocket, DIRTY!
CGshould be ashamed!

If you think this team will be a State Semi finalist team your on drugs! This team is Big They are dreadfully slow, Oak Hill and the passing attack would hang 45 0n CG!

The playoffs is not kind to slow defensive teams! CG is.
I wondered how Meigs stayed so close now i know! Meigs is an average team they are def faster than CG!

You're definitely one of the biggest whiners on this site. Not the biggest, but definitely close.
So I take it that it was almost as close as the 2007 game?
BTW, I said the cheerleaders would be in by the end of the 3rd, not the end of the 1st.

BTW: Meigs, Paint Valley, Greenup County, Rock Hill, and Chesapeake all won tonight. CG should get some decent level 2 help tonight, as well.

No your the most arrogant ASs on the site,I mentioned the DIRTY penalties! They were!
River Valley played hard tonite CG def had more size and experience.
I gave an honest opinion that had been expresed by others who watched CG play,SLOW! and they are! All i said. You guys will lose against any of the other 7 teams in your region, all your non league wins were against poor under .500 record teams!
OH except for Minford! haha ya'll almost had the refs pull that one out.
FUZZFACE the truth hurts! huh
