Watch this One slowly! heck, I might just put it up in slow motion too!....
On the first video of the game...called
'Touchdown JP Taylor'... watch #72 Sam Cramblit and #52 Taylor Barker FLATTEN...I mean, plant...the guys and then watch Tres Wilks #28 and #22 Ryan Sias with their led blocks! man, that looks like it was drawn up on paper and worked flawlessly! You have to LOVE seeing selfless blocking like these Tigers are providing!

I had to do it..the guys just done too good of a job blocking on this one to not do so....it's now in slowmotion too! Here's the Page Oh..and if you watch it in slowmo..you see that everyone had 'em someone they laid a nice block on to let JP do what he does...score TD's!
Re: Ironton @ Warren
Ironton has some of the widests splits I have seen an Oline take in recent years. That shows you how much they like their offensive line this year. I think this will be much like last year's game at Ironton. Close for a half, then Ironton wears Warren down puts up a few TD's in the 3rd to seal it.
27-7 Tigers.
Warren has had a great season. 7 wins is the most since 1997. Great year for the program and something to build on for next year. I think we can all agree Warren is back.

I hope no one gets hurt. Last game of the regular season, we do not need anyone hurt going into the playoffs.
GO TIGERS GO!!!!!
GO TIGERS GO!!!!!

Tucky,
I've said it all year long, the BIG 5 as I have dubbed them are the engine that makes this team run. But, I am a little partial towards them as my son wears the # 52, and busts open some big holes for the backs.
That's where each play starts is up front, and they have the size, speed, and agility that most people overlook from such a big group of players.

Can you give me some directions? I am coming up 77 from Charleston. My crew is leaving early. Most likely around 2:30. Any good places to dine? Or should we prepare to stop in Charleston?
Looking forward to the trip to Warren. Go Fighting Tigers!

If you are leaving early make a stop in Belpre at Belrock Family Diner. It is on Washington Blvd. Easy to find if you get into Belpre. It is a family run resturant, nothing fancy, just good home made grub. Hope you guys have a safe trip, and can enjoy a good hard fought game. Warren no matter what anyone says, will play you tough. Wolfe, Mason, Pritt, Fivecoait and Rohr will put the wood to you on defense. Ground game is our game. Warren has all year had long time consuming drives. Ask Logan. Warren very possibly won the time of possession battle, in losing the war. Other that a hick-up in the deep coverage for two of Logans scores, this was a wewll played game buy the Warriors. This week they help Chilli to five 1st downs and only @124 yards for the game. So all the trash talk about naming the score and getting ugly early is fine, only time and friday night will tell. However the game ends I am positive the players from Ironton will know come saturday morning that they were in a rough physical football game. These Warrriors will come to play and give as good as they get. To both teams PLAY HARD, PLAY SAFE, PLAY FAIR. GOOOOOOOO BLUEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!
And Eric Mason (#23) caused a fumble on a kick-off and recovered it in the end zone friday night as well.

The field is a part-time pasture for cattle and sheep. They bring the hogs and chickens in on Saturday morning in order to clean up after a Friday night home game. Four guys with 4x4's light the field on game night.

They clean up the cow patties before Friday night or leave 'em to make it more interesting?

They clean them up and dry them for next season's bon fire.
New home side and visitor stands. Field is a little beaten up because of the amount of rain over the last two or three weeks.

Re: Ironton @ Warren
Predicting blowouts are very humurous...ha.. Logan called for a blowout, didn't get it. Ironton definately isn't Logan. They got a long, physical game. Warren plays very well at home and this being the last game of the year for the seniors they are surely to have a little something extra. Flat out Warren plays like they have the last two weeks this will be a one score game. I have been impressed with Ironton all year and anxious to see how our boys stack up against them.

Re: Ironton @ Warren
I look for a hard-hitting contest between 2 teams finishing their season on a high note. I have never made predictions nor will I start now but I will say this game will be more than a one-score contest.
Warren is having a great year and it is Senior nite while the Fighting Tigers are tuning up for a first round home play-off game and would like to give Coach Lutz another notch on the record he achieved last Friday.
Looks like the weather may be a little uncooperative again this Friday which could have an impact on both teams......
85 inside........I think I would consider a stop in Charleston for dinner.............or if you go the scenic route, up 93 to 32 to 50 I would consider a stop in Athens........decisions, decisions, always a decision to make.........

Re: Ironton @ Warren
Just read on Joe Eitel's that Amada-Clearcreek has clinched the #1 spot. Coach Lutz has the record intact. Ironton has already clinched a 1st round home game as well. Tigers are not in a 'must win' scenario here but..we'd sure like to see 'em do so if they can.
I'd love to see a lot of Ironton fans make the (long) drive to back these Tigers!

I'm sure a lot of the Ironton folks who don't want to make the long trip to Warren will drive down the street and watch lil brother (Coal Grove) put it on the line for the OVC Championship and a playoff berth against the Dragons.

Re: Ironton @ Warren
Stadium is located if front of the school pond. Visitor seating will accomoodate @ 750-850 people. There is a hill surrounding the score board end. The field is torn up at the score board end and didn't get any help friday night. If we escape any clowd bursts if should be soft but in fairly good shape. Three refershment stands one on the visitors side. Restrooms on the home side. The home side has a big spacious press box, with filming on top if weather is good. Lots of places to take photos. YOu might check on here for any photos of the games that have been played at Warren. If I find a site that has pics, I will post for you. If you come up 77 parkersburg has a Cracker Barrel at the mineral wells exit, come on up into South POArkersburg and there is a Bob Evens and a Ryans there. If you come on to the Rt # 50 and & exit there are some places there. If you want great Italian follow #50 into parkersburg and go to Jimmie Columbo's, you won't be disappointed. COming up through Athens many places there and fast food in Belpre as well as the afore mentioned Belrock Diner. Have a safe trip.
