NY still has Bern Union week 3. Still looking for week 4 and 5. We have 5 home games already so we can be real flexable on travel.

Berne Union was a dissapointment in terms of playoff points this season. Since they remain on the schedule, I hope they can provide more points in the future. I would have rather kept Piketon than Berne Union. Piketon is good for a 5-5 record at least in most seasons.

I talked to an ny assistant coach at Alex's game this week about this very thing. He told me that GCC will not return the message. They have called to schedule this game 4 times and they told them they will get back to them and havent called. So they followed up and cant get a call back.

Do you think they go out and get Newark Catholic but dont have the "Buckeyes" to schedule Grove city Christian? They will get them if they return the call.

I love the newark Catholic game but no more D-6 schools. That makes 2 on the schedule now.

Are you sure about your week 3 game. I heard from a little birdie up here that Ridgewood contacted NY about a week 3 game to replace Riverview. Since those two schools are in the middle of a contract, It may not happen until the 2011 season.

We are THE "Buckeyes" in our little part of the world and have proven we will take on all comers. Never heard anyone from NY complain about playing Logan, Ironton, Bishop Ready, or anyone else you can come up with that has been on our schedule in the last twenty years. Our "Buckeyes" aint skeered.

On offese NC lost 3 linemen, top 3 wide outs, H-back\tight end, Qb and 1 running back.

On defense the greenwave lost some D-linemen, 1 linebacker, both corners and a safety.

Besides that they have everybody's back. This last year NC rotated in a lot of players on offense and defense many of which were underclassmen. I would say in my very uninformed opinion the players that replace them will do just as good in most of the positions and better in few of them.

Yea NC is a DVI school but they play a DIV\DIII schedule. 1 DVI, 2 DV, 2DIV and 5 DIII schools.

I know you weren't bashing them. It's just some fans think you get more computer points by beating bigger schools. The truth is you get more points by beating schools with winning records. The level II points is what racks up the harbin points. This is a good game for both schools. Year in and year out either team can win and the school that wins will be rewarded for their win.

Remember you guys are D5, If you have strong d6 schools on your schedule like you do now you will be more than fine. At D5 you really can schedule who ever you need to. You have Trimble who will win year in and year out now NC who will do the same. The league games are all bigger schools than you now that Belpre goes to the Hocking. I dont see any scheduling problems at all. If you guys would have played anyone but Ironton and picked up a win from anyone you would have made the playoffs. I think the schedule is going real good for ny now they need to fill it up with anyone. Of course you still need to take care of business on the field.

BU will probably be a much weaker team next year. Don't count on them for many points.
