Gotta have the basics...
1. A place to play (playing on a football field works, but from past experiences the field gets too torn up from football and just makes for miserable playing conditions. Take Athens for example. I hated playing there because there field got so torn up. And it smelled like sewage)
2. You gotta have interest..gotta have at least 11 kids, but only having 11 is playing with fire.
3. And the new found basic, the ability to fund the team.
What will it take for Eastern to start a soccer team?

Maybe I missed something, but if you are referring to Eastern from Pike County, they do have Soccer! They started last year as a club team and played a varsity schedule as part of the S.O.C. Conference in 2009! Also, they do not have a football program, so their field is "soccer specific"!

He must be talking about the Eastern Tartans ( In sciotoville ) they have football but no soccer. About the same size school as notre dame, I don't think they have any chance of getting soccer, just not enough kids to go around.

The Tartans are Sciotoville East..........not Eastern. The only other Eastern is in Meigs County.

The only Eastern that matters is in Meigs county and we would rule at kickball err soccer.
