I could see this happening if he stays in Cleveland next year. I'm not sure that if the Cavs throw out the money that he is going to be getting, that they will want a risk of him getting hurt in football.

This is from the link posted above.

BEREA, OHIO -- If LeBron James truly believes he can help the Cleveland Browns, coach Eric Mangini has an orange helmet waiting for him.

"I think he should come on down," Mangini said, smiling. "I know he's pretty busy right now, but if he wants to give it a shot, the guy is gifted. He's competitive and tough. I'm sure whatever he applied himself to, he'd probably be good in baseball or soccer or swimming."

The NBA superstar, who was an all-state wide receiver in high school, said Tuesday if he put the time and commitment into it, he could be a good football player. Mangini agreed, calling James "a freak athletically" and said the 6-foot-8, 260-pounder could be dangerous at tight end, wide receiver or even outside linebacker.

When James heard the gist of Mangini's comments, he smiled -- but didn't take the bait.

"I had what I had to say, and that was it," James said before his Cavaliers played at the Washington Wizards last night.

Browns nose tackle Shaun Rogers, though, isn't convinced James could step into the NFL.

"I heard that comment," Rogers said. "I have mixed emotions about that. A great athlete? Yes. A football player? No.

He was an All-Ohioan as a junior. I think he would be a great WR.

If nothing else he would help them sell some tickets.

That's all he would do is help sell tickets. Look at Mike Vick, he was the man two years ago and now he can't even pick it up again like he used to. I know LB is a GREAT athlete but he would get hurt BAD if he played NFL football. Do you really see this guy running across the middle and getting hit by say Ray Lewis or Troy P.(dont know how to spell his last name). Cause it will happen due to the fact the Browns are in the same division. I don't feel that any NBA player could walk into a NFL field and hold his own. However, I do believe that some NFL players could make an impact on the court.

This is why Mangenius won't be around next year because he thinks LeBron could actually help the Browns.

LeBron ain't no Bo Jackson.

With that said, don't give up your day job King James. You'll make more money in the NBA than the NFL.

Great, one more wide reciever for the QB of the week to miss throwing to. Mangenious would just get him killed lateralling the ball on the last play of the game.
