Re: Waverly vs Logan Elm
Okay, I see that now. My schedule showed that as a Saturday game so that's why I was asking for the score. Thanks for pointing that out though. I would have probably never seen it.

Waverly will be fine!!! they had a bad night and Logan Elm played much better than Waverly. You can rag the coaches all you want- but they lost as a team and I am sure they were prepared they just didnt execute-they will get better- Waverly will improve each game out and playing tough teams only makes you better!
The players need to suck it up and not look for any excuses- bottom line you were beat by a better team- maybe, with some hard work, you might get a chance to see them later in the year. The game was ugly- but even in the 4th quarter with everything that went wrong for Waverly they were still only down 10 or so- the problem was the offense didn't ever get on track, so if you were watching it seemed like we were down by more than we were.
This makes the Valley game even bigger, because they follow that game with Chesapeake and Burg and possibly Piketon a couple games later.

I agree with bucki4life. Waverly will be fine and get better as the year goes on. Because of the schedule Friday's game against Valley is crucial. It is very important for the Tigers to pick up the W.
I was very impressed with Johnston's play Friday night and equally encouraged with the way Kretzer busted his behind. The kid was all over the court playing with great passion.

Johnston is solid at the PG, however didnt seem to be in sync with everyone else.
