I got a good chuckle out of thatgahs4ever wrote:Ive never seen a catcher crossed up two pitches in a row; especially after a conference to get it straight. Nothing funnier than seeing a catcher get fooled on a pitch right down the heart of the plate; twice.

Re: 2010 REDS
A lot of heart and hustle!!
Bruce is coming around, He is snapping out of his slump...Father time had another good performance on the mound.
The Reds are supposed to beat teams like Arizona and they are doing that. I love how they look at 1 game at a time and thats it. Every game is the most important game of the season to them and thats part of why they are in first place.
GO REDS GO!!!!!!!

Leake will probably find himself in the bullpen when and I did say when the Reds make the playoffs, which will be a good addition just in case we have a playoff game we need a lot of innings out of one bullpen pitcher.

Listening to Colin Cowherd on ESPN Radio the last few days and he maintains the Reds are a fraud; that they only beat up on bad teams and if they make the playoffs, they will be routed.

Re: 2010 REDS
I'm a huge Reds fan, but I listened to Cowherd the day after he was blasted by the Cincy media. He made the point of the Reds not having that good of record against the top 3 or 4 teams in the National League, but against the weak teams they dominate. He isn't completely wrong, but it was the way he says it that ticks me off.
Just keep beating the teams in front of you and the rest will take care of itself.
Still a little worried after the Cardinals series. That was their chance to begin to pull away and got swept at HOME. Imagine if they won that series. The Reds would be up 5.5 or 6.5 right now! Oh well, just nice talking about the Reds in late AUGUST!

I am one of the BIGGEST Bengals fans around......BUT......STOP RIGHT THERE......Paul Keels IS the voice of THE Ohio State University Buckeyes first and foremost!!!gahs4ever wrote:What do you expect out of a Bengals announcer?
Re: 2010 REDS
Dusty needs to spend a day with Sparky, so he can learn to not let a pitcher give up 5 runs before he pulls him. Sparky would have yanked him after he walked three straight batters to give them their first run. Hernadas is batting 304 in 7 hole and Gomes is batting about 157 since June in the 5 hole?

Re: 2010 REDS
Great win today.....Bronson threw a great game...Pen got it done...Phillips 4-5....and VOTTO...what can you say?...I have admired what Dusty has done this year and I am not easily impressed....
....keep pitching it....Johnny C. needs to bounce back his next start...keep playing great D.......keep Janish at short....win every game....dont just try to hold on.....They may not get it done, but I think they will...They will get a shot in the butt in a week or so when Chapman enters the picture......But it has been fun and enjoyable watching this club play.

Re: 2010 REDS
We got 2 out of 3 from the Dodgers! The Reds really need to jump on San Fran. We need the sweep cause the Cards are playing the Bucks.
