He did suprisingly well, he was really the only kid on the team that was able to consistantly score.

Great effort tonight by North Adams as it was closer than the score would indicate. Peebles started building their big lead with about 6 min or so to go in the 4th quarter. The Devils played a good strong game defensively for one of the first times this season. Unfortunately, they seemed to run out of gas in the 4th.

It was nice winning the Holiday Tournament but Coach Longhorn needs to address some weak areas of his defense (particularly help side as the Indians were backdoored in both games fairly routinely). Hope they have a good day or two of practice before facing Fayettville on Tuesday and then a very strong and fundamental team in Eastern Brown on Friday.

You're right about the backdoor being wide open.

Hopefully practicing in a heated gym for the first time in 2 weeks will make Peebles a little sharper. (because of budget cutbacks the Peebles gym wasn't heated over break).

No, it was rather frigid in the gym most days at NA. I think they may have turned the heat on right before the event began (meaning maybe 15 min) then turned it off again probably before it was over. Even still, it was pretty cool at NA during the JV tournament especially first thing.
