Did someone say havoc ball? Isn't there an ex-Athens coach on the bench that use to play that at Athens the last couple of years?

WELL WELL>>>> If it takes a little motivation to get the best out of some kids, then I will post every single day. Congrats to Ellenwood for finally playing like hes capable....just hope he comes to play like that everytime. Great Job Fivecoait in being a LEADER this team needs.(playing injured). Venham-hows it feel to be a bigger part of the offense....Is someone listening to my previous posts? (ha). As far as Logan being the team that warren should get back on the train after beating? Hello......Angle was playing at about 60%...couldnt move very well side to side...Offensively they are not that good and one of the weaker Logan teams ul see for a while...They will get better when Angle gets some more playin time and builds mental toughness, Big boy Deets played well with several blocks, but in all...Warren did play better , but it was like the scrimmages we had against Nelsonville, and Vinton County. They should have won handily. So 3 of the 5 pieces are coming together and we will see when we play someone just a little tougher....But congrats to the warriors, a win at any level will help your confidence and the warriors needed that.....Now if they keep that gameplan and dont rely on the 3 -ball and they omit those ugly forced shots it could make them better.,but it does seem a little early to get excited.... Lets just wait and see....Because... :122249 The sun comes out tmrw.

Sounds like havoc ball is an excuse to put an undisciplined "team" on the court. I'd rather watch a bunch of biddy ball

Warrior C C, was at the game and this was one of the best all around efforts from all players, and all 5 of the pieces are together(not 3 of the 5 coming together). Have seen some of your posts and you seem to have a negative vibe towards a few of the starters for some reason, this is a good starting 5 and will be for the remainder of the season in my opinion. I'm not going to get into a p!$$ing match with you on this point so don't expect a response if you are just going to be negative towards players. I know I know you are entitled to your opinion. Lets be positive and cheer on all Warrior athletes. Next up Jackson @ home on Tues. Jan 5th, come out and support your Warriors as this will be dogfight.

Not saying they didnt play well, just stating that I was impressed with the 3 that I mentioned(VENHAM<WOOD<FIVECOAIT). Ive watched alot of games over the years and just calling it like i SEE THEM.
Be glad to give recognition to kids when they have their moment. Cunningham,Lang, Hastie, Ward, Cowen, Henthorn,Hilvi, etc will get theres when they deserve it....You can pretend like they are all 5th graders and say good job to everyone regardless of how they play! But Im beyond that and these kids are old enough to understand....As far as effort , you can say that all kids deserve a pat on the back, warriors dont lack that, its getting them to step-up and want to be that true player......Motivation? Been a taxpayer for 33 years in this district and I might pi$$ people off by some comments....but this is what im seein and even with the SPECS I wear,(new lenses) think that truth always hurts when you voice things. So if at all my remarks are misleading and not what you want to hear, Dont read it> Great job Wood, again cause you took the challange and adjusted....Its all about playing to what ur capable of and when I see it, Im sure I wil recognize it and say good job to (Little Johnny) whomever it might be next time. So until the Jackson game..... The sun comes out tmrw..

... whatever the Warriors DID to my Purple on Tuesday night the newspaper reported that Coach Myers, staff and team held a closed door meeting for one half hour after the game before the team was let go ... none of the LHS staff spoke with "theNET" for the post game radio - Coach's Corner ...

... from Craig Dunn's recap in the paper - quote "At one point in the third quarter, as the Warriors began to pull away, Logan coach Keith Myers shouted at his players, "they (the Warriors) want it more than you." , unquote ...

... will be interested to see/hear how the Purple come out for the game Tuesday night vs Marietta - not sure I would want to be the next team coming into Jim's Gym ... some practices "with a purpose" between now and Tuesday night I'm sure ... good luck to Patrick Angle and the Purple Boyz in another "must win" defend the home court before playing 2 road games - @ Ironton , Friday night ... followed by a road game with a very sub par or worse Newark ball club ... only one win on their resume' so far this season ... 3 game week ALL must win games for the Chiefs ...

JV? Looking like Warriors switched roles here.... Relied alot on outside game, need to drive to the basket more.
With cold shooting from Ward outside, and off-nights for Leffingwell and Windland shooting as well, needed a better gameplan. Kreaps with some costly turnovers and just a bad night all the way around. Need to keep a chemistry going with the group, seems like alot of line-up adjustments and boys cant get familiar with each other. Guess we were not concerned with jv as much? The three guards as in (Hastie,Ward,Henthorn) work extremely well with Leffingwell,Winland,Kern, in the past together, but not sure whats going on there either?
Just like to see the same strong group play together and then subs when needed. But sure Coach Duckworth will make the adjustments. Kreaps really needs to play alot more under control at the point position. JV earliar were moving the ball really well but getting some varsity bad habits in not enough team play. Good Luck and should prob win-out if they play together. One of the stronger jv teams Duckworth has had and just putting the puzzle together should see great results, right into next year (GLORY YEAR). Jackson coming into the House Tuesday much improved so should be great games for both. :12222 The sun comes out tomorrow

Warrior C C, I ask what does it take to impress you? Also as you must know (by your in depth analysis of both the games) you can only play 5 quarters a night and only so much for a season (90 I think) per ohsaa guidelines, this imo might just be the reason Hastie, Ward, and Henthorn only are playing limited time on the JV squad. Just a few things for you to ponder on, as always lets cheer on our Warriors to a victory Tuesday at home versus Jackson.

I believe that Isaac Ward is the cousin of Tyler Ward#44 on the JV squad. Isaac's father Dennis still holds the single game record of 44 in a single game I do believe.
