I stand by the 8-2 mark. We are talking Wheelersburg here.

7-3 realistic. (Losses to Ironton, Minford, Oak Hill)
8-2 would be great! (Ironton, Oak Hill)
6-4 wouldn't surprise (Ironton, Oak Hill, Minford, & West/Ports (one or the other) )

I watched the burg play twice last year, and oakhill the same, and judging from what, i saw i don't think the burg can beat them. oakhill has 26 seniors on that team coming back, and the sloan kid is the best i've seen as a high school qb in many many years. if he gets in his groove he will burn the burg up. i'm no oakhill fan but they have the best football team i've seen in a lot of years around here.

I don't see Portsmouth not giving some payback for the beating they took from Burg last year.

The Burg Did Not Dish Out Anything That Portsmouth Coach Clifford
Would Not Have Done!!!!!

I'm Sure Others Will Agree...
And No I Don't See Portsmouth Doing Any Payback, Not This Year!!

Anyone? Or does no one know?
If not it'd be nice to get a reply, instead of ignoring!

No way does Oak Hill beat the Burg! Remember what league Oak Hill plays in, they have a nice team coming back and should have success but they dont have a clue what they are in for in this one. Burg by 21 or more.

A good schedule for the AD as far as travel, but for a school that has dominated it's conference, I dont see it that challenging. I say anything less than 8-2 would be disappointing.

Ah, arrogance is exactly what cost Burg the Minford game last year. And I would say that Minford was just as talented as Burg last year, more talented than Burg this year. And lets not forget the previous 2 contests being decided by a TD.

Dominance? Please!

Portsmouth, Ironton, West, Valley, Minford, Oak Hill and Portsmouth West could ALL be loses. 3-7 is a strong possibility. But you keep puffing your chest out thinking the name on the jersey scares those other teams and get ready for a big shot of reality this year.

4. A better question is how many conference championships does Burg have in the decade 2000 to 2009. Minford has 3. I don't expect that Burg will lose 7 games, but they have a very tough schedule. Oak Hill is much better than some posters above are saying.
