Bucs drop all 3 games to the Reds. They score only 1 run in 3 games. Offense is crap right now. Starting pitching was good in the first 2 games. You need runs to win. The starting pitching has been right there the past 2 weeks.

Lets hope the Bucs take their bats with them as they head for the friendly confines of Wrigley Field.

Way too much cadillacing and showboating by a mediocre team like the Reds these last two games.Cueudo should have had a pitch buzzed at his head for basically walking around the bases after the Reds leadoff man hit a home run.And to top that off Cueudo himself hit and buzzed a couple of our batters.We need to start buzzing back!!!

Nice way to start the road trip. Jones and McCutchen each get 5 hits as the Bucs find the offense with 16 hits in the come from behind victory. Buccos are 4-0 against the Cubbies this year.

Its time for the front office to make a long term committment to the younger players like Jones, McCutchen and Meek. All have a 1 year contract for a little over $400,000. Meek as a setup man is having a lights out year and should be the closer as he throws in the upper 90's with good control.

If we are going to build for the future, these 3 are a good building block in my opinion.

Olendorf gets the start today, make it a good one. Lets hope McCutchen and the rest of the Buccos keep the quailty at bats going.

At least we won 2 of 3 at Wrigley. Can't understand why we had Jones out of the lineup as he is heating up at the plate.

On to Philly. Lets hope we can take another series and start getting the record back to 500.

Bucs split the 2 game series with the Phillies when they got an impressive 2-1 win against Phillie ace Roy Halladay.

Brewers come to PNC for a 2 game series. We owe them in a big way as they beat us like 32-1 in the last 3 game series in Pittsburgh.

We got 3 in the first but ran ourselves out of a big inning. At least we got a split of the 2 game series. Braves come to PNC Park for a 3 game weekend series.

That stinks...I was wondering about that game too...The Pirates have one other Sat. night game that's not televised this year, thats in Oakland in late June.Dont give up on the Habs...The team that beat the Pens is in there somewhere...And remember the Bruins had a 3-0 lead on Philly at one point...

Any night the Fox has a nationally televised game, all other tv games, including local broadcasts are not allowed. The only way to see them is with MLB.TV.

RAISE THE JOLLY ROGER!!! Doumit with the walkoff homerun in the bottom of the 10th to salvage 1 win in the series. Disappointing homestand for the Bucs. On to the Queen City for a 4 game set against the Reds and then 3 in Atlanta before coming home for the Cubs, again. Bucs need to win the road series 4-3 and start the climb back to 500.
