Reds Pitcher Edinson Volquez 50 game suspension

He has failed a drug test, and will be suspended 50 games.

The test came during spring training, when every players gets tested a
minimum of once.

He is recovering from Tommy John surgery, and will be on the DL till mid summer.

The irony of it all:
He won't miss a single game due to the suspension, he starts the 50 game period tomorrow and
will be on the DL the entire time.

The only punishment he gets is he won't be paid while the 50 game stretch is in effect,
missing out on roughly 1/3 of his 450,000 dollar yearly paycheck.
