Reds fans need to step up....he was totally screwed. How hard would it have been to give Heath Bell the Padres bid and put Votto in over Adrian Gonzalez who has far less impressvie numbers.

If Votto is left off the team, it will be the first time since sometime in the 1950's that someone in the top five offensive categories has been left off the NL All-Stars.

The last time it happened in the AL, the player was BOOG POWELL!

BTW...Boog Powell is the answer to a long time baseball trivia question about what family sent the most kids to the major leagues. The answer is the Alou's.......Felipe, Matty, Jesus, and Boog. All Star Game is a joke. Let's have a post-season banquet like NASCAR to recognize the best players. Reduce the regular season by a week and get the World Series over before Thanksgiving! Give homefield advantage to whichever league wins the inter-league matchups. EVOLVE already! DH in both leagues and instant replay. Geesh!

That's cool! Let's make it one way or the other. I'm tired of it in one league and not the other. Do we have it in the All-Star sham? Is it in the World Series? Depends on the ballpark. Really????? Either it is accepted universally or not at all. And let's get a hard salary cap. Baseball hasn't had a great commissioner since Landis (Google it).
