If everything hangs on like predicted I will go out to Willow Wood on Friday(seeing most people will go to Tank), then take my seat at the Pat on Saturday to watch the Grove.

selonmc,

It seems as if you might have taken my post a little too personal. It wasn't directed at you anymore than it was directed at all of us...key word being US. If you noticed in my post, I included myself in the category of those who like to track these things and make projections. I apologize for any misunderstanding my post caused. By all means, please continue on. I actually enjoy laughing, and do it at my own expense on a regular basis. I didn't mean to come across as offensive at all. I hope this clears the air on any possible misunderstanding I may have caused.

Just depends on who Ironton and SV are playing. Yeah, the Tank will be full, but SV's stands are puny and so it all evens out. If Ironton ends up playing some pushover, I'll probably head out to Viking Country. Right now, it looks like Ironton could be playing Sparta in a rematch of last year's blowout win.

Dont count those chickens just yet. The Bishop Hartley game will tell the tale of whom and where you will be playing in week 11

If Ironton wins like they're supposed to tomorrow, they will have a home game in week 11, regardless of what they do against Hartley next week. Coal Grove and SV may or may not get home games. There will be an Ironton Fighting Tiger football game at Tanks Memorial Stadium in week 11 unless an act of God takes place between now and then.

I would hate to see a 9-1 Caldwell team not make the playoffs.

If burg wins out, i project a 20.05 avg. 16.2 if they lose to West. I think they will find a way to beat Valley. They will have played West the week before Burg and may be beat up.

Putting a L on West resume is going to be a tough one.

I definitely think west will win out and that will give L's to minford, wheelersburg and valley. Valley could also get 3 losses before its over with along with the burg and neither team would make playoffs. Minford can get 3 losses and still have a possibilities of making it. CG should win out and they will definitely be in playoffs in week 11. Caldwell has had a weak schedule and no points for that play..Just something to think about..

I think Burg can go 8-2 if they bring it every Friday like they did against Minford

I dont think West wins out. I dont see them even playing with Burg, who knows about Valley.

Even if Coal Grove makes it they don't seem to be a contender to me to win a playoff game.

If Minford wins out from here, they should be hosting week 11. Week 10 against Valley will have huge playoff implications for both teams.

I have Ridgewood at 8.579. That may move NY into the 9th spot. Basically you have 10 teams fighting for 8 spots. Ridgewood has 3 big points games left. If they win out they will end up in the 5th/6th spot. I agree that Fredericktown will probably be the #1 seed hands down. Oak Hill still has New Richmond left. The Valley/Minford game may be for a home game. Burg could still get a home game if they beat Valley and West. Monroe Central should win out, but they will still probably end up around the 6th/7th spot. My head hurts, too many scenarios to think about.

After seeing West play Minford this week I really don't see Wheelersburg losing another game the rest of the year! We will be hosting another playoff game on the hill! The tradition continues..........

It's going to be a very interesting 3 weeks. I think we all know who the contenders and pretenders are. That being said, there is potential for some VERY interesting matchups in Week 11. Can Valley win two of it's next three? Does Caldwell slither in? Those are the two biggest questions on my mind...

Vladimir,
How does Crooksville move from 13th to 5th? Tri-Valley beat Crooksville 35-12.

You sure? I thought I saw where Crooksville won, let me check again.

Nope you're wrong. Crooksville won. Crooksville 35, Dresden Tri-Valley 12.
That's a D-2 win worth 5.5 points 1st level, they were ranked # 7 in Region 7. That gave Crooksville 24.5 second level, plus their other defeated teams wins gave them 33 second level points.

22+33= 55/10 = 5.5
22+5.5= 27.5/7 = 3.92 for a total of 9.42 points
