Experience wise, yes. Talent wise, no.

Who would you rather sign, seriously?

Niemi or Turco? I know sometimes goaltenders get hot, but its tough to let rookies go who were that good. Yes, they did the smart money and spent it in Toews and Kane, but Marty Turco isnt, in my opinion, and upgrade.

I do realize, however, that they did not have the ability to sign him. I just wouldnt spin this as an upgrade.

I am just banking on improvements that Niemi will see after a Cup run. I guess we will not know until next year!
