Week 2--Hillsboro at Gallipolis

Post by jottings »

Any thoughts?

See where the Indians edged Western Brown 35-34 Friday night.

Anybody have info on this game?

According to the Hillsboro paper, Hillsboro was trailing 34-22 going into the 4th quarter.... Hard to get excited about this one... Spicer usually has trouble coaching against the blue and hopefully this trend will continue..... A combination of a new coach & offensive system spelled doom for the Blue last year... This game is very winnable for the Blue and should be a bell ringing night...

Going with what sounds like a much-improved Gallia team.

If you thought Gallia was pumped for Athens Coach Eddy will have these boys ready to run through block walls for the first home game. With the bleachers full of 12th men and the dirty devils student section it should be a great night in Blue Devil country I like the Devils 28-7

I gotta watch the replay of the Athens game and I like G.A.'s O. It looked good and there line is awesome. ATHENS MADE SOME GOOD ADJUSTMENTS IN THE SECOND HALF BUT i THINK GALLIA CAN WIN 7 OR MORE GAMES THIS YEAR.

I'm going with the Blue Devils 34-16

Always loved playing or coaching against the SCOL. It usually wasn't a good night for them. Hillsboro has not been a good program and I remember times when Logan slaughtered this team badly. In this match-up, I would expect a Gallia win this year and the game may not be close. There is still a big difference between the SEOAL & the SCOL.

Devils for the win.

Compared to last year's performance against Athens, GAHS was head and shoulders above last year at this time. If they show that much, compared to last year against this weeks opponent, Hillsboro will have a long night. Having said that, different teams have different strengths and weaknesses and we won't know till Friday night.
GO BLUE!!!!
