Don't look now boys but GAHS has a little confidence and that may be a bad thing for some teams down the line. Congrats again to the Devils.

Looking at the offensive numbers, I bet that the GAHS offense would have been pretty fun to watch last night.

O-line opening up huge holes, running backs running well, and nice touch passing and catching, along with some poor tackling by Hillsboro made for a very fun game.

Oh yea, defense played well also.

Very fun night for the Blue..... Hillsboro gave it all they had but the combination of a lack of speed and poor tackling kind of did them in for the night.... Student section & Band were awesome.... Need to improve in some areas because week 5 will soon be upon us.... Should have taken a knee on our last TD...IMO...

I see both sides of taking a knee/not taking it. It shows great sportsmanship, it also denies the 2nd/3rd team players their limited opportunities. After all summer and routinely getting pounded by the 1st team they like their Friday night playing time. GO BLUE!

Congrats to The Devils on a well played game. The Indians are toying with new defensive schemes and it is killing them, along with poor tackling. Galia looked very well coached, execution of the wing is very good. As for the last score I don't think it is bad sportmanship. Both team put thier younger players on the field for experience and you can't expect them not to go hard. It's just smart coaching. Good luck to the Devils on the rest of their season. It was great to see the community so behind the team. I loved the student cheering section, that was great. Hopefully the Indians can recover and finish the season strong.

gahs4ever wrote:On a final note, ARIC CARROLL is a stud at QB for the Indians. I have the game DVD and especially in the third and fourth quarter TD drives he just squared his shoulders, hit the line, and hits legs churned non stop. He is a load to bring down. He had a much better passing game against us in 2009, but he is a very good passer as well with a strong, accurate arm. And is he only a junior?
I agree, he was tough. I thought that with their personnel, they should have lined up in a more traditional formation and pounded the ball a little more. They had big linemen and big backs that ran hard. IMO, they don't have the speed on the edges to run the spread this year.
