I'm rooting for wellston in this one. This is a good game for the rockets to find out what they are made of after the disappointing loss to minford last week. Hutch will have them ready for friday. Rockets win.

IMO.....Wellston will beat the Blue Devils....Last Friday night there were two things that the players and staff at WHS realized..If they start the game with full intensity they will not do very well. and they can pass the ball with success. I look for the rockets to use the air a little more to open up the running game for those 5 backs....3 seniors.....and 2 juniors.....even with 11 guys in the box minford struggled stopping osborne and prater...if they can back the D off a little then you may see 2 100 yrd rushers in this game..

I agree, wellstons aerial assault last week was quit impressive. That just adds to fire power that we do have. I don't know how good gahs secondary is, but it will be tested. Osborne was covered by 4 defenders on 3 separate occasions and still came down with the ball. Should be fun, go rockets

this could be the best team wellston faces all year no disrespect to oakhill but i believe gallipolis is the better all round team.my work buddy has two boys that plays on the team.i have watched film of both teams gallipolis has played, the moore kid is a beast on defence,on the other hand athens and hillsboro does'nt seem to have the skilled players wellston has,if hutchinson can fix the special teams problem and the boys dont come out flat to begin game this could be a good ball game.gallipolis has their weak spots on defence sure hutchinson will see that when staff looks at film this week.not going to pick a score for this game just hope the rockets pulls it out should be a great game.good luck wellston.

Wellston got a 20 year old monkey off their back against Jackson in week 1. I hate to say it, but I think that is going to be the highlight of their season. As I don't see Wellston winning the TVC or beating Oak Hill.

Gallipolis is a team that is getting better each week, and could possibly make a run this year at an SEOAL title. They will not overlook Wellston the way Jackson did. Coach Eddy will have the kids prepared. My pick is Gallia by a couple of touchdowns or more.

Ill take Gallia by 6. As much as I love seeing the TVC over the Seoal I have to agree with the post above. IMO Jackson did overlook the rockets. Had Jackson not took out Waverly the way they did, I may think otherwise...hoping for a rocket win (don't say that often) but I gotta take Gallia in another close one.

I love it when everybody is against the rockets. There's no question that gallia will be ready to play especially in their own backyard. This is gonna be the game where wellston will find out what they are made of after the loss to minford.

It just seems like some people on here got it in their minds that gallia has already won this game. I'm sure the blue devil coaching staff isn't thinking that way. Wellston has got a tough team and I don't see gallia winning by a lot like some of the other "prognosticators" on here believe.

The rockets are gonna be a tough game for gallia. Go wellston! Beat the devils!
