Re: Belpre (0-3) @ Wahama (2-0) (TVC-Hocking)
Titletown, I beleive what you hear is correct.Wahama has a nice ball club. You joined the TVC HOCKING the right year for football.Everybody is playing for second place.I don't see anyone that can really match up with you.Unless the ball really takes some funny bounces.

Sounds like belpre is getting hit hard, hope they can pick up somewhere soon. If ullman, watkins, and wadaker get healthy id like to see belpre run a passing offense miller, watkins, wadaker can catch the. Ball. Not sure what the eagles have been running i havent made it to a game yet but i think it could work out for them. Hope the eagles can get a w soon!

What really makes me roll my eyes is how you Trimble folks get on here most years and crow about how good you are as you rollup another conference title and occasional playoff berth.DILLIGAF wrote:titletown thinks they are playing in the big ten or something

At Wahama, we support all of our programs do or die. So, keep rolling those eyes for the next 353 days until you visit Mason. Then, we will be glad to help you repeat the process again.

Ok, yeah. Anonymous internet forums may be where some people joke about kids and Coaches being hurt, but I wasn't joking.
Whatever. You guys will field a good team I'm sure and you will see Belpre's best on Friday, but it'll be the best of what's left.
Hopefully Coach Adams will be able to get back on the sidelines soon, I'll support him until he gives me reason not to, so far he hasn't done that.
Good luck to the Eagles in trying to keep their team together during this rough time period. Seniors, play and PRACTICE with pride in yourself, these are your last days on the field, need to make them memorable for yourselves.
Speedy recovery wishes to the injured players and Coach.

Wow, someone really signed on to this thread and made their first post on SEOpreps.com and it's subject material is a bash...lame....

I don't know who or what you are, come to a game and see for yourself...or stay on the couch and hide.

Well said Bowhunter. I heard that Coach Adams went to doctor in Columbus yesterday and may be released to coach this week.Thats good news, bad news is I hear that Ullman,Waderker and Watkins are all out for this week and possibly senior Jimmy Kerps.RaShawn and Wes Hatfield will probably be moved to backfield with Todd Packard at quarterback.I know these kids will give it all they have in these new positions. It will be hard to compete with a good team like Wahama with these circumstances but I know the boys will not just lay down and quit and will put there best foot forward Friday night. Hopefully Coach Adams will finally get to coach his team.jscbowhunter wrote:Titletown TVC wrote:Yeah right.....Belpre wont have their tailback....the QB is injured.......the coach is about to be run out of town on a rail........all this adversity the week they play Wahama. Coach Adams has been cleared to return to coaching and will be on the sidelines with the team Friday night in Mason.

This is a huge shot in the arm for the boys. However, there are others that we need to get healthy and return to the gridiron as soon as they are able for us to turn this around.
I am sure the boys that will wear the orange and black for Belpre this friday will give their best and that is all anyone can ask. Many of these boys will be playing out of position as the team deals with the injury bug as best as it can and those who are playing out of position will have had only a few days practice to learn these positions. Not making excuses in advance but stating a simple fact of coaching a small school program.
Regardless of the weather or the anticipated outcome of the game against a very good opponent, I plan on being there to support the boys and those who choose to give of their time to coach and I want to be there when these boys end the losing streak. Maybe not this week but it will end before this season.
I don't expect us to be the best in the state, I just want our boys to be the best team on the field whenever they play.
Good luck and good health to both teams and....

^^^Usually its Trimble folks who poke fun at the TVC. I even heard from a friend of mine that the oldtimers at Trimble refer to it as the SVAC. Sounds like you guys dont respect the league and therefore dont respect yourselves for winning it. Ok you can get off the couch now and my bill is $3500 for that bit of psychoanalysis......

Re: Belpre (0-3) @ Wahama (2-0) (TVC-Hocking)
This is the first time I can remember Belpre's football team being without three Senior Captains the same week. We all wish them a speedy recovery (hopefully next week). The rest of the team needs to keep their heads up and play hard, do your best, no matter what the outcome, it will be alright.

Ok just trying to remember the last time a tvc hocking team beat a team outside the tvc hocking that had a winning record other than trimbles playoff win a few years ago.thirtyonetrap wrote:^^^Usually its Trimble folks who poke fun at the TVC. Wynonna scores as many as they want. Belpre can't sell a car tonight, or win the game.

Game over......Wahama 48-0 over Belpre. Could've been much worse.
