BENGALS VS RAVENS

Post by ace63 »

After the pats game , yes in worried. They are playing at home (good). Zimmer needs to put pressure on qb. Bengals offense needs to play all 4 qtrs. bengals seem to play good with hurry up offense, use it. Need better play calls.
I really dont know who will win. Its a coin toss, but i hope its bengals.

hard to tell if this will be a defensive battle, or a shootout. frankly baltimore showed me nothing , but against a strong jet defense. and if the bengals play the rest of the season , like they did the second half in foxboro. we'll be just fine.

As a Steeler fan hoping his team will somehow win the AFC North I would love to see the Bengals win this game. However The ravens defense is ridiculous! The Bengals defense got worked over pretty good against the pats but Flacco is no Tom Brady so they should step up very well. I'm still taking the Ravens 14-10

This should be a good game. I like the Ravens in this one simply because the Bengals can't beat the good teams in big games. The Ravens have an awesome defense and an offense that has a lot of playmakers, but that unit hasn't really proven itself yet, as the Ravens only scored 1 TD. The Bengals had a horrendous first half last week and that cost them against the Patriots. Until the Bengals can win against a good team, I'm gonna have to go with the Ravens by 10.

Your using a double standard. First you say the bengals cant win against a good team. Than you say not untill they beat a good team. I will remember that . Eating crow wont be hard for someone with your posts.

It's not a double standard, they haven't beaten a good team in years. I don't see it starting this year either. So until they actually start doing that, I have to go with the Ravens.

So the ravens are a good team this year, but not last year when the bengals beat them twice. Or beating the superbowl champs steelers twice. Or the green bay packers. I would just say you have a big problem with bengals. Because you dont make any sense with your rantings

You and I obviously have different definitions of a good team. Bottom line, the Bengals looked pathetic last week, and I believe that's a preview of how the season is gonna go for them. I'm not gonna post anymore about it simply because it's not worth my time arguing with you.

Yes the bengals didnt do very good last week. But to say they NEVER beat a good team . Thats insane. The have done it for years. You dont make any sense. You do have a problem with the bengals and thats it. Just last year was proof. But you look at it with blinders. Anyone on here knows you wrong . talking facts is one thing, rantings of a lunatic is a other.
You may need help if that upset over the bengals.

the Bengals have the talent to win this game and they gave Baltimore fits last year with less so it should be a fun game to watch. Keeping Rice in check with their young LB'S and having a CB play in Boldin's face will be keys to this game. of course a TJ sighting could be an ace in the hole if he has learned their playbook enough to see much of the field.

The Bengals have the weapons to hurt the Ravens where they are the weakest, in the secondary.
The Jets don't have that ability.

The question becomes, will the O-Line give Palmer enough time to hit the routes that challenge the Ravens defense?

They sure did, but what did it get them? A one and done playoff game.

This game is a toss up. The Bengals need to protect Palmer so they can take advantage of the Ravens downfield. They also need to run the ball and not pass 50 times during the game. The Bengals can not get down quick and need to play well early then improve during the game.

The Ravens defense looked good against the Jets but the Jets didn't really try anything. The offense made enough plays against a good defense but showed they are not a shut down defense. The Ravens and Bengals both have new receivers and need to try to work them in during the game. The team that can take advantage of turnovers will win. They both need to improve over last weeks game.

How many playoff games did the Steelers win last year?
You'll have to remind me, I've forgotten.

That's in the past. But since we're talking about the PAST, how may Super Bowls have the Bungals won? In case you don't remember, the answer is ZILCH.
