Week 5 Nelsonville-York(3-1) @ St. Clairsville(4-0)
This is the first meeting between these 2 schools. Nelsonville-York is coming off a huge win against Bishop Ready where they proved there line is the best in the area. This should be a tough test for the Buckeyes and they will have to play great football to win. :122245

Good luck to the Buckeyes this week. The Red Devils are going to be a very tough test for the NY squad. And yes, it is a long ride up to St. C, no matter which way you cut it!

Good Luck Buckeyes!!!! Win another big non-league game and make a statement!!!!
Since this is the first ever game between Nelsonville-York and St. Clairsville, I have no all-time series stats to report this week.

I lived in st.clairsville for 2 years and watched thier football program the refs are the worse i have ever seen it didnt matter if u were the home or away team bad calls both ways every game i watched.i really think nellsonville will win this game.st,clairsville dont match up good with teams that play smash mouth football they play alot of spread offence teams. they cant handle it when team come in and bust them in the mouth,if nelsonville can weather the refs storm u will win,hit them hard and they will crumble. GO TVC!!!!!!!

It will be interesting to see how they play us. Teams are starting to realize that they can't just load up the box and stop us. Coach Dean does a good job of keeping the D off balence, he really mixes it up nicely. With the way our line is blocking we should still be able to run the ball well even if they do load up the box. Last week was another nice performance throwing the ball. There were a couple breakdowns and a couple bad passes, but each week the passing game gets better and better. What really sets the tone for this years team is the D!! They play high motor, non stop fly to the ball football. If the Bucks can dictate the style and tempo of the game then they will come away with another VICTORY!
GO BUCKS GO!!!!!
GO BUCKS GO!!!!!

St Clairsville wins and Nelsonville once again will find themselves fighting for their playoff lives. Already in a very tight spot...

Nelsonville-York suprised me against Bishop Ready, but I think St. Clairsville might give the Buckeyes more than they can handle.
Re: Week 5 Nelsonville-York(3-1) @ St. Clairsville(4-0)
Once again this week it is the defenses that will determine the outcome of the game. Whichever team can slow the other offense down will win. Go Bucks!!

Very impressed by Nelsonville-York's non-league schedule. Newark Catholic, Bishop Ready, and St. Clairsville are all GREAT games, in my opinion. Good luck to the Buckeyes!
