I don't think N-Y will have to worry about Stevenson this game, but STC is very deep at running back.carbon_dated wrote:Has N-Y ever played a game north of I-70?
Should be interesting to see this matchup. Glad its on radio in case I gotta work OT.
If Nel-York can stop Stevenson on those little passes in the flat it can win because that kid can flat-out fly. Gets those y-a-c yards.

The only OVAC teams that I can recall the TVC playing are SOME of the PVC teams. And how has the TVC league done against them. Not very good.FANOSPORTS wrote:They won't back down but will still get beat. Trimble vs. Beallsville in the late 70's
Wellston vs. Woodsfield in the mid 70's
Miller vs. Monroe Central in 1994 or 95
Fed Hock vs. Shenandoah, Caldwell, Monroe Central
Nelsonville York vs. Monroe Central
Trimble vs. River
Frontier vs. Alexander
These are the games that I can come up with off the top of my head. The Fort Frye games vs. the TVC, I am not sure if FF is part of the OVAC, I honestly don't remember. If they are, then there is a little success against the OVAC from the TVC.
Otherwise, all of the competitions I cited above are an "O-FER", except for the Frontier vs. Alex game from last week.
St. Clairsville will be a very tough test for the Buckeyes. I will be rooting for NY and the TVC, but I am not sure how much of a chance they have. But that is why the games are played.
FOS is right, like it or not.
