After all the sabre rattling by Minford fans on this forum, the Falcons had better come out victorious. Losing to a SOCI school two years in a row by an "elite" SOCII school, wink wink, is unacceptable. As far as predicting a score I'll leave to the great prognosticators on this forum. However I will tell Oak Hill fans, live it up, you aren't likely to see a group of players like this for another generation. The winner of this game could win the region, but then that will be a curse in disguise, the winner of your region gets served up to Ursiline, enjoy.

Thats why I was asking because I think there's more than one little birdie flying around.

And without saying they might find out what Wellston had to go through.

Allthough I would find it hard to believe, sutch a big game for them. I just guess we will have to wait and see. :122248

It's funny how the Minford people are all bringing up the "speed" factor after they all made fun of Wheelersburg people for doing it last year. The Burg had far superior speed to Minford last year and we all know how that game turned out.

I would really like to see the Falcons take down the Oaks and then the Burg beat the Falcons, but both of those will be very hard to do. Good luck to the Falcons because they are going to need it. Oak Hill is a very good team and these 35-13 predictions are probably way off line. I see this game being decided by 7 points or less.

Say what? Burg had far superior speed vs Minford last year? What did they put in the water across town?

Seriously outside of Craigmiles who was hurt alot of the time, Shank was the only other "speedster".

I agree with you minford17, everybody just needs to take a chill pill and relax. This will be a good game and the team that makes the least mistakes will win. "Can't we all just get along!".

If in fact their qb is hurt, we need to act with class and not root against a high schooler. I know I stir the pot, but I dont attack kids. Hopefully he is not hurt. Most true Minford fans want healthy teams on both sides of the field for this type of ballgame. I am sure that any comments directed to him were not to intentionally hope he is hurt for this game.

On the flip side, anyone from Oak Hill that wants to throw down before the game, you need to take a deep breath before that goes any farther. Probably not the best thing to say on here where people know people who know people, etc.

Lets get ready for one of the biggest games in the area in recent seasons. Burg and Minford were both leading the region several years ago and ranked in the top 10 in the AP poll. It was a great atmosphere and a great game, with Minford coming up just a bit short.

Lets hope for a good clean game in less than 48 hours and GO BIG RED!

If one more person makes a post threatening violence or using profanity, YOU ARE OUT OF HERE! This is the final warning, so post wisely if you want to stick around.

I deleted most of the trash that had been posted on this topic today. If anyone thinks there is other offensive or unnecessary information on this topic, send me a PM and I will take care of it.

I don't like deleting people's posts, but blatant rules violations aren't going to fly.
