I know it doesn't mean much but both Logan and Gallia beat Marietta by 13.
Gallia scored more on Marietta's defense than Logan
Marietta scored less on Logan's defense than they did Gallia's defense
Don't they say defense wins championships?

I agree Locos, people are really confident in Gallia's chances in this one,I could be wrong Logan might go out and lay an egg, but I have a strong feeling alot of people are going to be scratching their heads come this time Friday,I really can't see the Devils having an easy time of it!

Good luck to both teams. Hope there are no injuries to either team. Wish I could make it,but I have a prior engagement. Good luck Blue...

I don't predict scores because of differing strengths and weaknesses. That is one of the biggest reasons you cannot predict a score based on common opponents. Because team A can exploit team B's pass defense, it does not mean team A can exploit team C's pass defense. Different strengths and weaknesses can show up in all phases of the game.

I have no real feel for how I think this game will go. It is something to say two teams are coming into the sixth game of the season and you really don't know what to expect from them. I think this will be the best GAHS team Logan has seen for quite some time and this Logan team is not the same as the last few Logan teams. But where the chips will fall is anyone's guess as far as I can see. We'll know A LOT MORE about both teams after Friday night.

This is an interesting game for several reasons. Its true D wins championships ( and games, lol). The Chiefs shut out Marietta. Before that the Tigers had scored 28, 21, 35 & 21 winning two & losing two. The 13-0 Logan win shows me that Logan has made some improvement. When you shut out a team scoring a minimum of 3 TDs and as many as 5 TDs in their games, it grabs my attention. Gallia gave up 3 TDs to Marietta. Gallia has played the weaker schedule. Gallia runs a Wing T, same as Lancaster. Think Gallia matched up with Lancaster ? I don't. If Logan wins this game, as I suspect they may, it will be because of the D. Five games may not show much success for Logan, but it tons of experience that they lacked when the season started. Game 6 is the second half of the season. I suspect its going to look better for the Chiefs.

I just don't know what to think. I went and saw Jackson vs. Wellston in person and I'm having a hard time getting over my impressions of that game. My brain says that since Jackson looked that bad and that they put 49 on Logan, that we should be able to win this game. However, Jackson is obviously playing MUCH better and Gallipolis got a harsh dose of reality last week in Ironton.
I think the key to the game is GAHS' resiliency after looking bad last week. The Ironton score might have been a little misleading. Ironton is definitely stacked and should make a nice playoff run, but I honestly don't think the score was indicative of the difference in talent between the two team. If GA would've stopped shooting themselves in the foot in the second quarter, I think it would've been a 2 or 3 score game.
If the Blue Devils come out and play like they did in most of the first four games, I expect them to win a close game. If they haven't recovered and Logan gets up early, it could get ugly.
