Ravens vs. Steelers.

Who wins, and who is the game changer.

I'm saying Steelers pick up another W with Ward going for 100+ and 1 td.

Steelers lose by three 17-14 way to give up the darn win with 1 minute left. but still 3-1 is better then I thought we would go.

People seem to think that Ben will just step in a being playing at a high level. For his actions I hope he has a tough season.

He is a talented QB so he will be playing at a high level. You honestly can't think he hasn't been doing some sort of drills on his own. Wishing him a tough season isn't exactly fair either. Sure he associated himself with the wrong people, but he may have turned a new leaf. Obviously Goddell thinks so or he wouldn't have reduced the suspension.

On a different note, it was a very good game. It could have gone either way. It certainly hurt the Steelers when Reed missed both FG's. The Steelers will come back and end up splitting the series with the Ravens this year, and I honestly think they will win the AFC North.

Now it's time to nurse the wounds with a bye next week and to give Ben some extra time to work out any potential rust.

Doing drills and actually playing with your receivers in a game is different. As well as being in shape and being in game shape after taking some hits. His arrogance put him in trouble. Wishing him a tough year is fair to me. To many players who think their on field talents allows them free passes in life. He was in a college town in a college bar. That was his stupid choice and he was having young women led back to a private area to drink with him. How would you think if one of those girls was your daughter or relative? The Steelers have gotten rid of other players for their off field actions.

He is a talent on the field and has done some amaing things on the field. While he has played well he has taken some abuse to his body on and off the field. Now it will be a change for the whole team to get use to. Along with having a new center this year.

To many flags when the game was on the line.

I agree about the football aspect, you have to have game experience to succeed at that level. I never condoned his actions and I think what he did was wrong. However, wishing someone misfortune is ridiculous. Wanting someone to learn from their mistakes and wanting someone to hit rock-bottom are two different things. He said he learned from his mistakes, but his actions from here on out will tell us if he really has.

I still think the Ravens are the team to beat in the division but the Steeler D looks pretty solid thus far and if Roth is ready to go then watch out....
