Hope not.

Massey matchup has GAHS 30 Wellston 0

I hope its not off as much as their prediction of LH 24 GAHS 0!

In 1960, the late John Weber, then editor of the Wellston newspaper, helped Gallipolis get a new pressbox by "buying a $1 insurance policy before the game." The Gallia Times took a picture of the purchase, ran it on page 1 the next day. It upset the then Principle Ross Fleming, a Rotarian, and he got the Rotary Club to build a new pressbox for Gallipolis.

I worked in Newark. I had several friends who were Licking Valley boosters. They started planning to build a new LV press box and were amazed at how much red tape they had to go through. There are many government mandates required that add huge expense to building a new press box today. (I am sure most, if not all of these mandates were not in place in 1960)

I certainly hope Prater and Brown are not out. Was looking forward to seeing Wellston with their best players on the field. Having said that a young man's well being should always come first.

I hope it is just someone trying to play head games with an opponent. I want to see them 100% and ready to go Friday evening.

IMO Wellston has a very solid Defense. I would say good enough to keep them in any game they play this year. But they are going to have to get some sort of consistant push from the offense in order to beat Gallia. I say Wellston Offense options their way to Victory on the outside, 20- 14

You mean any game from this point on? I'd say the 35-0 score vs Jackson wasn't keeping you in the game.
