For starters, why did the coaching staff call a pass play? Run the ball and then punt it away and let the defense finish them off.

Carson Palmer is the problem in Cincy, he sucks. I hope he loses every time he walks on the field with the Bengals after he bashed my beloved Buckeyes and Buckeye Nation a few years back. Get rid of him and I may even get back on their bandwagon. Until then, he will continue to lose ballgames.

The way they were running the ball that is what they needed to do more. Their line blocks better on runs than passes. Also Palmer is not the old Palmer anymore. He still has talent but consistency is not there. He doesn't seem to have complete control of his arm all the time. The elbow injury he will have to adjust his game and be more like Chad Pennington was after his injury. Time to seriously think about his future.
The play call on the int for a TD was a terrible call on the part of the field. Also why not throw a short pop pass to the TE Gresham? Then let him run with it instead of having him going down the field all the time. With this loss hopefully TO will not run his mouth like he tends to do when his teams are not winning.

Well, it did go threw chads hands. He did have a dislocated finger fom last week. But if you cant play , dont get on the field.
The offense is not getting the job done. When the bengals lost to the last place browns, I knew they were in trouble.
The biggest problem is not palmer, but the o-line. If you get hurried every pass, things will go wrong. They cant run block or pass block. The young line did okay last year. But really s**ks this year. Andre smith should being going strong now , but is a year behind. Now the stronger schedule is ahead of them. God help them.
Also this is marvs last year on his contract. The rumor in cinci is this will be marvs last year if he doesnt make playoffs.
The other rummor is that mike brown is talking to bill cower. This is a big buzz in cinci now. But the other is making zimmer head coach. Time will tell. But AS of right now , i donot see the bengals making the playoffs . Untiil hell freezes over or the browns go to the superbowl. Take your pick

P.s. The bengals offensive coor should have left years ago.

my bengals just flat out suck. and i hadda watch the equally hapless browns blow it to the falcons, because they were too dumb to put cribbs in as qb , when seneca wallace got hurt. i didn't get to see my bengals here in waverly, but dad watched them in ironton, so i had to settle for the other terrible ohio franchise, the browns. my opinion of the bengals playoff chances has completely changed, and now you know why i pitched a fit , when we did not draft a qb.OH WELL, AT LEAST WE GOT OUR BUCKEYES.which i think could possibly beat either of our so called pro teams. and marv's gotta go. and the brown's need to can mangini, as well. get holmgren out of the booth or promote ryan, one or the other.

I hate to say it being a Palmer fan, but the Bengals need to find a new QB. They need to run the ball on 3rd and short but they pass it every time. I can't hardly watch anymore.

Palmer just flat out sucks. Either i hope we make a trade for a qb like Vick or someone, or we don't win another game and we have the first pick and draft the best qb availible. Bratkowski needs to go he is the worst offenseive cordinator iv'e ever seen. Marvin lewis just isnt a tough enough head coach he needs to go to. We do all that we have a good team.

both our teams suck. and we know it. i thought that the bangals were a team capable of going to the super bowl this year. thats a complete and udder blunder on my part, they'll do good to get to 500, and the browns are even worse. and have not had a qb, since i think vinny. both of our teams need seriously revamped. i mean how do you have what the bengals have ands lose to the browns and tampa bay. and as far asthe browns keeping mangini was a total blunder, as bad as retaining marv lewis. i say for the time being, the bengals can marv, and promote zimmer. and the browns can mangini, and promote ryan. they are surely 2 woeful franchises right now.
