Yes Cadets win 33-22.

Cadet JV also won 42-18.

JV's could have given the varsity a good game tonight. So much for a week layoff...

Caldwell at fort Frye tomorrow night.

Cadets only shot 25% Monday at Warren, and played a very sloppy game after a week without a game.
Sure hope the coaching staff has them back in "game" shape.

Cadets by 15 or so.

I never said Caldwell would beat FF.I just think they are the 2nd best team in a bad PVC.

Somebody the non conference schedule for Ft. Frye. I happened to had the pleasure to officiate the Ft. Frye-Morgan game.
Morgan isn't as talented, but i really wasn't impressed with their play! Maybe an off night, I'm not sure. Great coach though. Very professional and curtious! Good Luck to all those teams "up that way"!

This was the Cadets first game of the year, not an excuse..... but don't most teams get better as the season progresses?

Fort Frye is one the better D3 teams in the state.9-0 winning most of the games they play by 20 or more.Even off nights the team defense keeps them in the game.Held Warren to 22 points. The same Warren team that beat Chillicothe.

I was starting to drink the Fort Frye kool aid until that last statement. Chillicothe is one of the bottom feeders of the southeast district this year. Like mentioned above they are winless. Not just winless they lost to Portsmouth. Let's go ahead and use Chillicothe as a ranking tool and since Fort Frye is so big on point spreads let's use those too.

Ironton beat Chillicothe by 42
Oak Hill beat Ironton by 33
Oak Hill + 75 over Chillicothe

Warren beat Chillicothe by 30
Fort Frye beat Warren by 11
Fort Frye +41 over Chillicothe

Sorry I just assumed Chilli was good being a big school and all.Anyway FF played awful vs Warren shot 25 percent and still won by 11.Bounced back beating 6-1 Caldwell by 18 lead by Lizzie Nau who is a beast.Fort Frye plays at 6-2 Monroe Central sat night.Monroe is having a tough week losing to Caldwell and Shadyside after starting 6-0.Fort Frye played 16 win MC team last year 4 times winning all 4 times including in OVAC tourney and Sectional Championship game.

I think a loss before the tourney might be good for these girls. They are yound and that is a lot of pressure.I am pretty sure they play a tough Rosecrans team soon?

Eastern you bring a lot of haters because of your knowledge of the PVC and of Fort Frye. Trust me folks if you travel down to Beverly and watch these young ladies play they might not beat an Oak Hill but they deserve to be in the discussion

Two tough games ahead for the Lady Cadets, Jan.17 vs Zanesville Bishop Rosecrans (top five in Div.4 statewide), and Jan.29 at Waterford. Cadets squeaked by Waterford at The Fort in mid Dec. These two games will tell weather they can compete with the top teams.

Remember, this is a very young team that starts three Soph's, and first off the bench is a Freshman who plays most of the game...

I am just messing with you guys really.
When Oak Hill really got going about 15 years ago, I was saying the same things. It is fun to watch the Fort Frye fans on here with their excitement.

exactly. I hope we get a chance to meet up in regionals. I would much rather have you guys there than Garaway.
