I find it very amusing all of the hatred and backlash toward LeBron James this past summer and now into the NBA season. Let's examine this situation, shall we?

This is a guy who took less money to play for a team that had a chance to win a championship. That is his crime. Yet we have athletes who nobody says peep about who have raped women, fought dogs, sold and used drugs, shot people, and gambled on their sport. All because the poor little city of Cleveland hasn't won a Championship in a while.

Personally, I feel the whole situation is a sad testament to what kind of shape our societies moral values are in (if we have any to speak of).Crybaby fans in Cleveland and other losers around the world of sports need to look in the mirror, and watch the creep staring back at them. You want to hate an athlete? Why not Vick? Why not Roethlisberger? Why not Burress? Or Arenas? No. You hate a guy who did something totally unheard of in professional sports- to take less money to win. I don't care how he did it. The reaction would have been the same, whether he did an hour long show or not.

Lets look at it the right way. He gave up in the playoffs, he then basically pulled a jerry springer and called out his team on national tv to say hey guess what Im sleeping with your sister, and then he took off his jock and put on a dress to be the sidekick to Dwayne wade. This is my point. Four replies to this thread, and three people are roasting him. How many times have you people totally bashed LeBron compared to the number of times you have bashed Vick? Or Burress? How about Arenas? You probably have bashed Roethlisberger b/c he plays for the Steelers, but that's beside the point. I have no sympathy for the city of Cleveland whatsoever. Before The Decision I was a Cavs fan. Dan Gilbert and their selfish "egotistical" fans(same word can apply to both of them O&B) totally ruined any respect I had for them. They never owned him and they never will own him. Last time I checked he is a free man. IMO, Cleveland needs to get a grip and quit crying on ESPN's shoulder about how their poor little Brownies, Indians, and Fighting Dan Gilberts can't win a championship. OMG! Life sucks. My teams can't win a championship. Last time I checked, Sports is not life.

For those who think some are haters
LeBron told his coach what to do. In many big playoff games he came up short but last year against Boston he QUIT. Not only at the end of the one game but more games. For whatever reason he quit. Then to treat the Cavs the way he did and draw things out for an hour long show. Which he says made money for the Boys and Girls Club. Where did that money come from? By those who sponsored and advertised on the hour long show. NOT FROM LEBRON himself. LeBron could have put up some money of his own. One thing is whatever he says you really can not believe him.

As for going somewhere and taking less money. Big deal he is making how much on the side with commercials and other things. He maybe in Miami but with all the money spent on 3 players they still have to put 5 on the floor. Which LeBron has already started with his excuses. LeBron biggest problem is he can not look in a mirror and see his mistakes. It is always someone else. Now he got what he wanted which is not a good fit for little 3 skills.

So if you want to cheer for a player who quit then enjoy. Since the object is to play to win the game.

No respect for Cleveland or the owner. The fans who paid money for games and all the other stuff over the years. The owner who paid him how much money over the years only to have him Quit against Boston then have an hour long show to announce he was leaving. Also from the end of the season he would not even talk with Cleveland or the owner who was paying him.

As for the other players mentioned they all deserve what they get. As well as what Ben did has nothing with him being a Steeler.

Lebron was not the only one who quit.His TEAMMATES,yes he did have teammates that night and they quit way before Lebron did and there was no way Lebron could do anything and no I am not making excuses for him but its kinda hard when the D knows your driving to the hoop and all 5 guys key on you knowing no one else is going to do anythng.

Kobe-3 rings with shaq(best player on those teams),Pau 2 rings 3 years in finals Between these two big men when kobe was the man nothing was done and was crying for a trade and now he is loved all over again

For Kobe and Jordan they would pick his team up and carry them if needed. They would take over the game. Also they played better in the playoffs. They would not let the other players to quit or would they just quit during a playoff game. Kobe grew up and he has players who want to play with him. He is a team player. Jordan had to do the same as his game changed and got his team mates more involved they won playoff games. Either of those 2 players you wanted to take the last shot. LeBron at the end of games wanted to prove he could make a 3 pointer instead of driving to the basket or taking a closer shot. HE wanted to show he was a good 3 point shooter. Which he is not. So even if the five guys are keying on him. LeBron would not force them to foul him at the end of games, Also if he had to go to the foul line to win a big game his free throw shooting was more like Shaq. Where Kobe and Jordan loved the free throw line and would come thur a majority of the time.

I wish people would quit trying to compare Lebron, Jordan, and Kobe they are all different players. Jordans is the greatest of all time IMO no one will ever pass him. Lebron te best scorer and most athletic person to ever step on the NBA hardwood. Kobe, very smooth and clutch. Those three guy are the best to ever play the sport of basketball, no matter what they do or where they play. Lebron is just as good or better than he was in Cleveland. Ever since he left Cleveland, the Cavs fans act like hes no good, well guess what, your wrong. Even if Lebron never wins a ring he will still be remembered as one of the top 3 NBA players of all time, get over it people. LONG LIVE THE KING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Like I said LBJ is in the top 3 of all time. After he wins two or three rings with MIA it will be forgoten. Just like when Kobe messed around with that girl a few years back, everyone hated on Kobe then he won rings and everybody forgot what happened. And dont say Kobe did it on his own. He had to have Shaq to win the first 3 and when Shaq left they didnt even make the playoffs. Then Gasol came around and Odom, and Kobe won a few more rings. So I guess Kobe couldnt do it by himself either.

First I'm just saying I don't care for the "hype around Lebron. I think he is a great player a very smart buisness person and a good citizen....However I am sick of the World revolving around Lebron James. I don't care about the Cavs. I HATE all things Cleveland....Lebrons eggo has gotten bigger than his game, it's gonna get in the way and it will stop him from winning more than 1 title.
