Bottom line is...does he give his team a better chance of winning by playing? That is something only the coach can answer and I wonder how much discretion he is being given by the owner now. Ziggy was less than enthused with Childress releasing Randy Moss. My guess is niether coach nor quarterback will be back next year.

they are 2-5 right now. he should be giving the ball to peterson more instead of putting favre in a position to force a throw and get picked. childress is a whole other story.

He was not playing the best then made the 4th quarter comeback. His game stats sounds good but then it was against the Cards with Anderson at QB.

I agree Arizona is not great but no other QB has thrown for that many yards against them. Farve still is exciting to watch and still has a little magic left.

Take away the last 2 drives all the Vikings had was 10 points. He may have magic left but his magic act does not work well all the time. Some of his magic also gets his team behind.

Not quite. I would have never flew down to get him or sent people to get him to beg him to play. Besides Farve came back and said it wasn't for the money but signed a new contract for millions more before he would practice. Farve couldn't even tell the truth after getting stitches he said he had 8 but since then the team reported it as 10.

To compare me with Childress well I would just say how I feel and not play games or kiss a$$ like him.

The Vikings will do anything to try to get Farve to start. Now they have taken the air out and flatten the roof of the Metrodome. Now the game was postponed but now it is not sure. They should clean out the Minnesota University stadium and play the game outside.

The streak is OVER!!! He is on the inactive list for tonight's game, and the experts are speculating that he will be put on IR to stop the noise about who will quarterback, especially since the doctors have already said it will be three to four weeks before he could play.

I'm guessing, that this hombre' will be riding off into the sunset, officially retired, at the end of the 2010 season. He's had a great career, but maybe hung on a little too long, JMO.......

Be careful what you wish for, I for one hate to see Farve go. The NFL has became boring with all the great quarterbacks they have lost. If you like watching T. Jackson, Fitzpatrick,A. Smith,Skelton,Henne,Palmer,Clausen and Delhomme then you should be glad he is gone. I personally liked watching the great quarterbacks, I hated 49ers but still liked watching Montana and Young. I know that Viking game was exciting Monday, watching Jackson take Peterson out of the game. Give me the great QBS whether I like or hate them it makes the game much more interesting.

The QB play has been on a decline for years. But Farve's play this year has not been well and his come and go has not faired well with his team mates. Never knowing if he is going to play next season or not.Farve was great and that is in the past.
