Raiders vs. Steelers
Raiders are a pretty solid team, but I THINK Steelers should dominate by at least 17 points. Thoughts?
Re: Raiders vs. Steelers
The Steelers may win but will not dominate. The Raiders are playing pretty good right now on offense and defense. The Steelers are not playing well even on defense. The loss of defensive linemen for the Steelers is effecting the defense quite a bit. The offense with the line trouble and if Ward is not cleared to play that hurts the offense. The Steelers did get rid of their place kicker only to replace him with a kicker who is up and down also.
The Raiders are coming off a bye week. They have had extra time to plan and get well for the Steelers. Which should be a benefit to them.

We better be ready to play. The last 2 times we have played the Raiders they have beaten us. On a side note, Steelers better keep Gay on the sideline. If they do play him, they might as well butter him up, cause he'll probably get toasted again.

Naw, i'll just give the wifey some money to go shopping. That should "buy" me a couple of hours. If she , by chance, should get back sooner, my excuse will be, that the cordless drill went dead, and i'm waiting on it to recharge.ace63 wrote:manwithplan wrote:We better be ready to play. DOMINATION! even with 150+ penalty yards against us we won 35-3
could have been 63-3 but penalty yards took alot back.

Re: Raiders vs. Steelers
The Raiders came in playing pretty good football. They said during the game that the Raiders were 0-7 after the bye week. They must have forgot how to play. This game had a lot of penalties on both sides. The Steelers offensive line continues to get beat up. I think Ben learned not to run his mouth to a big defensive lineman.
The Steelers were able to overcome some of their mistakes in the last couple of weeks. The defense played better. It was really hard to tell if this was the Steelers playing the way their talent is or if the Raiders just didn't show up. No matter what the Steelers need to play like that the rest of the year. Without the penalties and without injuries to their offensive line. I still think the line trouble will hurt them by the end of the season.

The most exciting part of the game was Seymour dropping Big Ben like a rag doll.

Re: Raiders vs. Steelers
After watching how the refs tried to make this game about them, I might not watch another NFL game all year. The NFL just needs to make it official: the QB should be given a flag to tie around his waist and if a defender does anything to him besides pull his flag, it should be a penalty. High salaries and the union have ruined the game.
