HOW IN THE SAM HILL, IS MARV LEWIS STILL OUR COACH
I MEAN SERIOUSLY. OUR ENTIRE STAFF NEEDS GUTTED EXCEPT ZIMMER. AND THEY ALL NEED TO GO ON A LONG DEEP BACKWOODS TRIP TOGETHER WITH MIKE BROWN, ON A HUNTING EXCURSIONS INTO THE DEEP WOODS OF CANADA, IN ALL BROWN CARHART OUTFITS DURING DEER SEASON. NEVER TO BE HEARD FROM AGAIN, IN THE FOOTBALL WORLD.

Re: HOW IN THE SAM HILL, IS MARV LEWIS STILL OUR COACH
The bigger question is how the heck is the west coast gangster the QB?
Re: HOW IN THE SAM HILL, IS MARV LEWIS STILL OUR COACH
Marv hasnt done that bad. partly to blame. But a coach is only as good as the people around him. Now get rid of that offensive coor, NOW. He should have hit the road 4 years ago. I think hes on goof balls, or something to that affect.

THERE ARE MANY PARTS OF THE PROBLEM, STARTING WITH MIKE BROWN, WHO HAS WAYYY TOO MUCH IMPUT IN WHO GETS DRAFTED, AND STAYS ON THE ROSTER, WHEN CUTTING PLAYERS. THE O-COORDINATOR IS TERRIBLE. CARSON PALMER HAS HAD IT. WE NEED A BIG NAME, DISCIPLINARIAN COACH TO COME TO TOWN, WHO DOES NOT WANT A ROSTER OF CON'S. AND HAS THE AUTHORITY TO MAKE ALL FOOTBALL DECISIONS, OVER RIDING MIKE BROWN.

Let's be honest, the biggest problem is the guy whose Dad's name is on the stadium.

True about Mike Brown. Until he finally turns over the reigns to a GM, the Bengals will will continue to be the Bungles. They will not get a high profile coach like Gruden or Cowher until that happens. Coaches like that want control of the team and with the Bengals they wouldn't have that control. Mike Brown is probably the worst owner in the history of the league
I have been a diehard fan(you have to be a diehard fan to put up with what we bengals fans have put up with for years) for 35 years now. Hell, I even have two tickets to the game this Sunday(which I would like to sell if anyone is interested. I am asking $75 a piece, which is what I have in them, if anyone is interested.
Bengals had so much promise coming into this season and then they picked up Owens and it went downhill from there. His presence has caused the Bengals to completely go away from the running game and Benson in favor of trying to throw the ball more and Palmer is not the answer for doing that. How many pick 6's has he thrown this year? I can think of at least three.
I believe they are now playing for the first pick and should take Cam Newton if he decides to come out early. I see him being a pretty good NFL QB. He has the size and is not afraid to tuck it and run for the 1st down. When was the last time Palmer did that?
In the true fashion of a Bengal fan that I am and something we are used to saying, "We'll get 'em next year, just you wait and see."

Mike Brown is definitely the root of all their problems. They need a coach thats going to come in and stand up to him but who really wants to come to Cincy? Marvin just doesn't seem like the type of coach who players look at as an authority figure. Carson Palmer hasn't been the same since his injury back in 2005. I'd say he goes back to the west coast where he wants to be. We have great young nucleus of players and it's time to take advantage of it. Bengals will probably always be the laughing stock of the NFL as long as Brown owns the team.

Actually the Bengals have had a losing season under Marvin. The year before last they went 4-11-1 or something like that when Fitzpatrick was on the team.gahs4ever wrote:If the Bengals dont recover, this will be the FIRST losing season Lewis has had in Cincinnati. No, he hasnt set the world on fire and has yet to win a single playoff game, but two North division titles in two more than they had the previous 20 years and his worst seasons have been 8-8 to this point.

cam newton's passing needs some work still a bit, he won't be running it in the nfl. not like he has in college , or the NFL, will stand for not for long. but he definately has star power, and potential. but will have to lose the happy feet at the next stop up.

I give up on the Bungals! Horrable owners, bad coaching...It all stinks and I am done. The 90's were aweful, I will not live through it again.
