A big tip of the Bucco cap to Brandon Phillips from the first place Pirates!

Yeah it was a good win, cause unlike the 1st half of the season (opening day aside) the Reds got a big hit to WIN the game.

Play Heisey every day in center , dangle Stubbs as trade bait .

It seems like Phillips has hit all of his home-runs against St.Louis. I hope he keeps it up. I would play Heisey every day in left and the Reds would have a nice young outfield set for several years.

Does Stubbs rob that homer last night hit by Pujols? Heisey just has a knack for making the big play . He can cover ground as good as Stubbs . The Reds have a couple of left field candidates in Frazier and Hermida. Package Stubbs in a trade and bring in a staring pitcher. Stubbs has great speed and could make things happen but until he cuts down on those k's he will never reach his potential.

I still dont understand what the idiot Astros were doing trading a future HOFer to a division rival, but maybe that explains why they are in last place.
They didn't, they traded him to the Yankees and he signed with the Cardinals in the offseason

If ya can't hit ya wont win and the Reds can't hit not to take anything from a good Pirates pitching staff but 3 hits tonight just wont cut it

I hope that one of the three teams in front really take off. I'm tired of watching the Reds underachieve and I would like to move on if their not going to turn things around

When pitching is strong, the Reds struggle at the plate. They cant seem to get timely hits. When they can put 5-6 runs on the board, their pitching fails.

Go Yankees!
