What to make of this game? Are the Browns getting better? No. Are there pieces in place that give Browns fans hope? Yes. Does making a change at coach again make sense? I hope so because it is coming. The real question is where do the Browns go for a new head coach. If the answer is John Fox, I'll personally go to Cleveland and spit in Holmgren's face. How can any fan of either team feel good about this game?

Don't judge Fox by the Panther's free fall. With the injuries to the o-line and an owner that refused to pay anyone that was old enough to grow facial hair it made his job next to impossible especially with their schedule. He will finish with a winning record for his time in Carolina and while i don't like his coaching style i don't think that he was the problem this season.

I passed her a didnt say a word. If she wants to run her mouth, she should expect that. Just like most browns fans i know.
But i did have 1 at my house today, he was a good person . Not the mouthy ones.

but she should have expected to get a good cussing or worse, because most bengal fans "most that I know anyway" , cant seem to take a joke.

We had a great time at the game. My wife and daughter went shopping and dropped us off right by the stadium. My son was in amazement of the stadium and how people were yelling an hour before kickoff. We had good seats and he even got to listen to a drunk family of idiots argue amongst themselves.(one was a Browns fan, the other 7 were Bengals fans.) People overall were pretty calm in the section we were in.

We only got cold when we realized that our feet were in a puddle of melted snow

Glad you had a good time, first games are the best. I refuse to go in cold weather,But kids dont mind

I agree with a lot of your sentiments. But as for the coaching change, that was inevitable as soon as Lerner hired Holmgren. Mangini might as well be speaking Dutch to Holmgren's English. Two different systems, two different lineages, I almost get the feeling Holmgren was pissed that Mangini finished last year on a high note so he couldn't replace him then. Hey, we got a QB now. Heckert and Holmgren will continue to put the pieces in place. Again, Lerner needed to get the management in place BEFORE he hired the coach but now the timeline will be set right. I actually feel a little bit better today than at any other time near the end of the season recently. I saw what Holmgren did in Green Bay. Give him a chance. (He just may be the new coach).

Browns wins over NE and NO negated by losing to losers like the Bills and the Bengals. Now there is talk of getting rid of Mangini and starting over again. Im tired of starting over and too old for this crap.

They ought to take the ownership away from both owners, combine the rosters and put the new team in Columbus.
