T.O was on his way out, before knee injury

Post by ace63 »

But before the knee injury even arose, Pro Football Talk reported that the Bengals were considering deactivating Terrell for the final three games of the season. Cincinnati had lost 10 in a row with him in the lineup, so as long as he was ripping the organization what did they have to lose? The knee injury went ahead and fixed the glitch, but the latest report is detrimental to T.O.’s future.

Owens was lucky the Bengals took a chance on him this year. Though he played well and the rest of the team stunk, he regained his reputation as a locker room disturbance. What team will want him now, especially since he’s returning from knee surgery? It may be the end of the road for The Player, and it’s quite an ignominious exit for T.O.

T.O. has never been thankful for any team that he has played for--he has always done more harm on a team than good

What are you talking about the guy was right though. Ocho asked him an an outsider what is wrong with the team why are they losing and TO said what all teh Bengal fans have been saying MIke Brown sucks as an owner and the coaching staff isnt up to par.

Couldn't have said it better myself. Mike Brown needs to hire a General Manager that is not a coach and the Bengals need to wipe out the whole coaching staff and being in new. Wonder how interested Jon Gruden would be in the job? I know some people are not a fan of him but he has the attitude that the Bengals need. He won't put up with any non-sense from the players or the owner.

don't forget about Jordan Shipley. What QB's are free agents after this year, or do the Bengals go for Luck or Mallett in first or go for Locker in 2nd round. Where does Newton come in at.

The Bengals are going to stick with Palmer, if they can't get a qb in free agency,,,they will draft A.J. Green out of Georgia and then show Ocho the door.

Kevin Kolb would be a good QB to pick up.

With TO injured and on his way out with OC the next year. So with TP now suspended for 5 games next year he turns pro as a WR. So TO and OC can be replaced by TP to improve the offense next year.

Both TO and OC can be replaced with the young receivers who are taught to run good routes and be about the team. The team needs to figure out if the problem is the WR not running routes correctly or if it is Palmer. IT could also be both so getting someone in to evaluate the trouble. The Bengals do have the rookie QB on their rooster that with some work might make a starting QB. One who would earn his way not be their because of where he went to school.

The problem is not Chad or TO. The problem has been there way before either of those two got there. The problem is Mike Brown isnt his dad. I follow Chad on twitter and facebook and let me tell you he wants to win he does everything he can to win, but when the Qb is throwing to him and throwing more to the defense it wouldnt matter if we had Jerry Rice the Bengals woudl still lose.

Maybe your problem is you follow Chad on Twitter and Facebook. Mike Brown is a big problem but today the other receivers who do not have the abilities of Jerry Rice put up good numbers in the win.

Hows that a problem following an athlete on twitter? Are you talking about last nights win? Im pretty sure Chad was hurt and didnt even play last night so he wasnt going to put up any kind of numbers. Think about all the losing seasons and there has been one constant, Mike Brown. He's just there for the money he isnt there to as Herm says "WIN THE GAME!"

Chad and TO both were out but the offense ran better without them. The Bengals had a variety of WR's play well as Palmer threw the ball better. So the difference from the other games this year is OC and TO were out. The problem is not following the Twitter and Facebook as much as believing what is said. Even the defense played better. The one constant is Mike Brown over the years but OC has been a constant for during his career also. So maybe OC talents did not make up for some of his problems.

Thats what helped them to win last year. The coaches got away from that so they start to lose. Exactly what TO said, he said the coaches were the problem and look they go back to the running game because him and Ocho were out and look what happens they win.

So you are telling me that you would be willing to give up two WRs that have played the position in the NFL for 10 or more years for a college QB that hasn't played WR before? That may be a good pick if you was gonna keep Ocho and another veteran but you can't get rid of Ocho and TO and have nothing but a group of young receivers and one of them never playing the position before.
