T.O was on his way out, before knee injury
Re: T.O was on his way out, before knee injury
getting rid of those two would bring a lot of joy to the team--Detroit might be the Motor city but with Ocho and T.O., Cincinnati is the Motor mouth city

Didn't say that at all I said the rookie QB with some work might make a starting QB. And YES I would still get rid of both those receivers.mercerville monster wrote:farmer wrote:With TO injured and on his way out with OC the next year. So with TP now suspended for 5 games next year he turns pro as a WR. So TO and OC can be replaced by TP to improve the offense next year.
Both TO and OC can be replaced with the young receivers who are taught to run good routes and be about the team. The team needs to figure out if the problem is the WR not running routes correctly or if it is Palmer. IT could also be both so getting someone in to evaluate the trouble. The Bengals do have the rookie QB on their rooster that with some work might make a starting QB. One who would earn his way not be their because of where he went to school.
So you are telling me that you would be willing to give up two WRs that have played the position in the NFL for 10 or more years for a college QB that hasn't played WR before? That may be a good pick if you was gonna keep Ocho and another veteran but you can't get rid of Ocho and TO and have nothing but a group of young receivers and one of them never playing the position before.

I think those two are clowns just like everyone else but if you are going to get rid of them atleast bring in a veteran or two. I know the young receivers torched San Diego over the weekend but I don't think they could do much in a whole season. I say being in a veteran at WR, draft a new QB, and get back to what was winning you games and that is running the ball. The Bengals only need to pass when they mix it up with the run or on obvious passing downs cause Carson is a bum at QB these days and has proven that he cannot run a pass heavy offense.
Any if anyone picks Pryor as a QB in the NFL needs a drug test or a psychiatrist. That guy is a bum at QB in college against the Big 10 so I would hate to see what he would do in the NFL.
