ROGER!!! Especially that dowgg!!
When FIDO told me he was getting texts from the game I couldn"t pass this one up. I do remember you telling me that you don't do texting. Well welcome to the 21st century and believe it or not my kids have me texting more now also.
Oh yeah, and congratulations on growing thumbs!!!

56% from the free throw line won't cut it during the tournament. The ability to shoot free throws is what wins close ballgames. Lets work on that Portsmouth.
GREAT WIN!!!
"GO TROJANS"
yeah , I remember sitting on the levee at our football game when your daughter was texting, and saying..I DONT TEXT,,THEY CAN CALL ME.....LOL..truth is now,I text more then call
FINALLY!!!..........The 14 GAME LOSING STREAK VS. CHILLICOTHE IS OVER!!!.........THE SERIES IS NOW TIED AT 41-41!!
VERY PROUD of our Trojans and our coaching staff on the win.........this was a game where the two teams punched each other back and forth on the defensive end of the court........GREAT DEFENSE BY BOTH TEAMS!!........and it was not a slowdown game, as some might think by the score..........just a CLASSIC defensive slugfest!!
Chillicothe is a tough team.........the Cavaliers are long, athletic, and relentless on D.......and our Trojans came through in the intense 4th quarter..........after CHS had battled back with a 10-0 run to tie the game at 39, Andrew Bendolph stepped up like a true leader and hit a HUGE 3 and then a layup to give PHS a 44-39 lead........that was the turning point of the game.......then the foul and T on Chillicothe, with Wayne Evans going 4 for 4 at the stripe, sealed the first win for the Trojans in 15 tries vs. CHS.
Dion McKinley proved that he is more than just a post player........he smoothly stroked 3 three-pointers in the first half, which provided much needed offense for PHS.........he also nailed a 10 foot jumper also........most of his points were outside of the paint..........Zaide Whitley played outstanding D on Jalen Ragland, and also nailed two 3's..........and Tre Underwood was a beast on the boards!!..........the bench also provided some good minutes, with Seth Bratchett scoring a bucket over the defensive standout Malik London.
And the RED OUT!!!........it was AWESOME to see that kind of energy in our gym!!.......the best I've seen in a LONG TIME!!...........It was a sea of red for sure, everywhere I looked, it was red.......great to see the community support these Trojans!!
Great to talk to bvmv4life before the game.......and I wish Chillicothe the best as they get ready for the D2 tourney.........I really believe the Cavaliers can get to the state.........and I really believe our Trojans CAN TOO!!
But there's a lot of basketball before that.......Portsmouth still is not a finished product.......it's back to practice to get better, and stay focused on EACH GAME!!
GO TROJANS!!!

Malik had a good game, but he didn't dominate......he didn't block as many shots as he did in the first game, but his defensive presence was felt..........I have said before many times, this kid is the BEST defensive player I have seen for his age........his timing on blocking shots is uncanny and he plays great D without a lot of fouls......and he alters shots that he doesn't block.
Dion McKinley was matched up against Malik both games, and scored a total of about 40 points against him, with a variety of shots inside and out.
Great game by two very good high school teams, home court advantage played a big part in the Trojans pulling this one out.The officiating I think was consistant and the talent level was the best that I've seen on the hardwood this year outside of a couple prep schools.
The defense was off the charts by Portsmouth, containing one of if not the top player in the seo J Rag to just 13pts.Chilli also had stifling D containing another top player in the seo A.Bendolph to just 6pts.
Don't know the gadget defenses coach Collins is running but they seem to be very effective.Wayne Evans has been stellar all year for Portsmouth hit 4 straight free throws to basically ice the game.Mckinely and Whitly were huge early knocking down big threes to set the tempo.Malik London is the real deal with a ton of upside, who absolutely controls the paint it is definately his house.Portmouth seems to be the real deal. However I was very impressed with the Cavs.Good luck to both team come tourney time.
Malik is a good player right now and has the potential to be a great player. He needs to get much stronger to compete with D1 college players who he will not have the height advantage as he often does now. I expect him to work hard and become a great player.
