Are the Spurs for real?
The Spurs are 43-8. But can they beat the Lakers in the west? Or can they beat the east teams, MIA, Boston, Orlando in a 7 game series? There has olny been 7 other teams start with that good of a record, 5 of them won a ring.

I think the spurs are the best team in the NBA, and im a huge lakers fan. They have already beat LA twice(even though LA should have won the last game) and have pretty much dominated the west. They are one of the best defensive teams and most "veteranized" teams in the NBA. If i had to guess now, I would say CEltics and Spurs in the finals, Spurs pull it out in 7.

The Spurs have beat some of the best teams in the NBA already. That is without Duncan playing well. They have a good combination of players on their team who start and come off the bench.
Can they beat the Lakers? Well the Lakers have not beat many of the good teams this year. As well as being beat by many of the best teams by double digits. The Lakers keep saying they will be a different team by the end of the year. They can talk about it as much as they like but they need to do it on the court.
Miami I do not think they can make play well enough when needed to make the finals.
Celtics depends on injuries but can play well against anyone.
Magic still need to work out some kinks since the trades but if they can put it together can present problems to anyone. They are thin at center after Howard which will give them trouble in some games during the playoffs.
