Miami Heat
Re: Miami Heat
Hope your right,I would hate to see Lebron's mug next to that trophy after the way he embarrassed the Cav's on national TV that night ,but they be my pick right now if Wade and James don't implode,I'll load up on plenty of hot sauce just in case they get knocked out.

Re: Miami Heat
Hansbrough had a hard foul on Wade. Haslem had a hard foul on Hansbrough. With under a minute to play and the game out of reach for the Pacers, Pittman landed a huge cheap shot on someone from Indiana and was caught on camera giving a wink to his teammate. I hope Miami goes down.

i like that physical kind of play. Pittman and Haslem's fouls were uncalled for. But Pittman should be suspended rest of the year and then some. He even winked afterwards the tv caught it.

Re: Miami Heat
This was a good series for the Heat, they needed a tough series to get ready for Spurs/Thunder. Lebron and Wade will not be stopped the rest of this year.

Re: Miami Heat
Anyone know Chris Bosh's status? Is he done for the year or will he be able to get back in to the swing of things if the Heat make the finals? Seems like nobody on ESPN has a clue what his expected recovery time is supposed to be. They will need him if they want to beat the Spurs or Thunder in the finals.
Re: Miami Heat
Thought I heard somewhere maybe TNT that he could have played the other night, but since the Heat were not in danger of losing the series they would save him for the conference finals.
Re: Miami Heat
ESPN is now reporting Bosh won't be playing in game 1, but will be day to day after that and he is making progress. They probably won't even need him the way James and Wade are playing, just hand them the trophy now, what would really make it interesting is if James or Wade got hurt.

I think they are going to need him this series to be honest Boston even though they are old still will take this to a 6 or 7 game seriesC-Bolt wrote:ESPN is now reporting Bosh won't be playing in game 1, but will be day to day after that and he is making progress. They probably won't even need him the way James and Wade are playing, just hand them the trophy now, what would really make it interesting is if James or Wade got hurt.

Re: Miami Heat
I dont see it going like that to be honest it took LBJ and Wade to play like gods against an avg Pacer team with the help of Danny Grangier getting hurt... Without Bosh in the line up this series goes 6 to 7 games.....cool cucumber wrote:No way, Heat in 5.VegasEagle wrote:I think they are going to need him this series to be honest Boston even though they are old still will take this to a 6 or 7 game seriesC-Bolt wrote:ESPN is now reporting Bosh won't be playing in game 1, but will be day to day after that and he is making progress. They probably won't even need him the way James and Wade are playing, just hand them the trophy now, what would really make it interesting is if James or Wade got hurt.

I think the Boston series goes 6 games like the Indiana series but I do like the heat to win. Indiana has a stronger team than Philly IMO and the sixers managed to take Boston to game 7. I wonder how many more years this Boston team will be relevant? The Big 3 they put together in 2008 are 34/36/36 with Pierce being the youngest.

Agree I think the Heat take this series but its not going to be a cake walk like a lot of people are saying.....TribeManiac10 wrote:I think the Boston series goes 6 games like the Indiana series but I do like the heat to win. Boston should've ended the series in 5 that comeback from Philly was incredible. Coming from a celtics fan i think this game will go 6 or 7 games with Miami coming out on top. Rondo has to average a nearly a triple double every game for them to win. Celtics are an extremely inconsistent offensive team plus the health of ray allen and them missing avery bradley is going to hurt them. As far as relevancy for Boston, I see ray gone next year and them bringing back pierce and KG they'll have a lot of money to spend in the offseason so they might reload for next season
Re: Miami Heat
Boston has no inside game, just mainly a bunch of outside shooters,KG is big but he is more of an outside shooter,Boston really messed up letting Perkins and big baby go years ago.Boston will have to shoot out of their minds from the outside to have a shot in this series,Miami's defense will stuff them inside and they will not get very many easy baskets.Boston will have to have very few turnovers and slow Miami down because once they run its over.Make Miami beat them from the perimeter,I think the big key is can Boston stop James and Wade from penetration in the lane.

Re: Miami Heat
The way the Spurs and Thunder have played all year, the winner of that series should be a huge favorite against either team in the East.
Re: Miami Heat
That was ugly! Boston looked old, tired, and slow, easy baskets galore for the Heat, they will do well to take one game. The Heat should have plenty of rest before the finals while the western teams slug it out.
