I like watching high school baseball from Regionals on These 4 teams in this Region- Hiland, Zane Trace, Wheelarsburg, Martins Ferry anybody on these teams going to play college baseball next year? anyone exciting i should keep an eye on from these teams?

For those in the Portsmouth area, the game can be heard on Fox Sports AM 1260 WNXT and streaming live on WNXT Sports, 4:30 p.m. pre-game coverage. Will cover Friday's game as well if Wheelersburg is fortunate enough to win Thursday.

One team expected to be in this game. The other probably not, but I think that makes ZT's young team dangerous. Plus, they play and win a lot at the VA. The Pioneers lost 7 starters from their league championship team in 2016 that won 21 games.

Great game! Huge crowd. Burg scores two runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to defeat Zane Trace 4-3. Both teams had seven hits in the game. Zane Trace has nothing to hang their heads about.

Outstanding game, huge crowd, great high school baseball environment. Burg hung tough and came back like they've done many times this year. Proud of the Pirates!

Zane Trace should be proud of a great season. The young team made a great run and I'm sure we will see more of them in upcoming years. ZT fans were all very respectful and encouraging to Pirate players as they were leaving.

Good luck to Pirates on Saturday. I know Hiland is very good. But so is Burg
