Anyone know what they lost and what is coming back?

Does anyone keep track of the lower grades?

So Manchester losses their starters at 3 key offensive positions, but they are going to go from 0-10 to 3-7/4-6/5-5? And they are going to give a rude awakening to a playoff team that had them 41-0 at half last year?

Streetballer never ceases to amaze on this site.

The score last year at the half could have been alot worse our JV played most of the second Quarter. All I am saying is the interest in Football at Manchester will never be enough to make it a good Game. I wish Them the best but am glad we will not be Playing Them again after this Year.

Manchester could be just fine if they could have some continuity in a coaching staff that puts the pieces in place (good strength and conditioning program, disciplinary procedures, and teaching the game). The school has athletes and the community support is good, they just have to make a plan and stay with it. Which is easier said than done.

Manchester will be joining the Ohio Valley Athletic League in 2013. The switch will be for football only and will not affect the SHL. Seems like a weak conference so it should give Manchester an advantage while building a football program. Story can be found here:

Having a young assistant coach who played for a successful program can only help as well. Dustin Cook, from Wheelersburg is part of the coaching staff this year.

Glad to see they have a league to join.
Hopefully they can get the numbers up, up and down the system and get some wins.

The southeastern panthers played at Symmes valley this past Friday and Symmes Valley has the best team I have seen in years, the only weakness they have is kicking field goals but when you can put up 60 or more points who cares about field goals
